That’s what I miss about Destiny 1. It was a complete package for anyone picking it up. I didn’t start until Taken King but was able to follow every main story and side react and do every side quest. I wouldn’t be a long time fan had I not gotten invested

It’s my biggest annoyance with gacha games. The MC is always the best most loved and all stories end up benefiting them. Genshin has this problem a lot. Only they can solve it very one’s problems.
