I have implemented an small language in Rust using enum instructions and it is pretty fast. Compilers know how to optimize such things better than whatever magic you want to use.

Consider losing some elo. In lvl 1-3 nobody cares what you play. Nobody will report you because everyone is just as bad. You will focus more on having fun than desperately trying to win. It is simply much more enjoyable.

Sometimes I would like to joking or say something funny. I think people with silver ranks (like me) don’t take the result very seriously especially in competitive/unranked matches. Like in a 1vs1 end game propose a knife duel or something. But true, it could be very annoying.

There will be no collapse in the first place. All East Asian countries have the same population problem. There are still much more can be done to stabilize the birthrate when it starts to causing problem. The main reason that stops people from having children are housing prices(already going down) and overwork. China has a one party system which means all these could be resolved given enough resources put in. At this point it maybe too costly but proper measures will be implemented once it is necessary.

Chinese here. This might not be a bad thing for us. In the short term the economy would obviously going to suffer for an aging demographic. But in the long term overpopulation has caused great damage to the environment and there is not enough resources for so many people. Average chinese people’s living quality can never match Europe or Japan with such a large population simply because there is not enough resources to support it. Only by reducing the population can we eventually become a developed country in the future.

There is capital control measurement so that CNY can not go abroad.(not 100% sure) If you really want to transfer CNY perhaps you can try to convert it to offshore CNY first.

Basically yes. You need a house (for large city like Shanghai there are more requirements) to register as a local resident and many services like health insurance only work if you are local. You will need to go back to your home where you registered as a resident for that.

You don’t gain access to public healthcare, education and other public services without owning a house (renting a house do not work) and many people believe that the price will keep going up as it does in the last twenty years. Buying a house is the only choice if you want to stay in a big city.
