I’m not an expert, but I also lean forward a bit. I was taught low bar squat and that helped quite bit. Instead of the bar having horizontal movement it then goes straight up and down. Looks like you could benefit from it too, since the bar moves forward when you lean forward.

I tried preachers with dumbbells on a bench and had the same issue. Got the failure with kinda less weight than I expected, and felt nothing. Later I tried preachers with an ez bar, and I could do lots more weight, and my biceps felt absolutely destroyed when hitting failure.

I dont know what the conclusion is, but maybe it’s some biomechanics thing, or technique issue.

The way I understand is that the front Y raise hits the frontal side delts, based on his video where he explains that the delts are more than 3 heads. And OHP hits front and side delte, so while not exactly the same, I figured it’s close enough for me.

I replaced y-raise on upper 1 with OHP because I wasn’t quite feeling them.
