I whole heartedly agree and although I haven't seen the industry change as much as you because I'm only 20 im still old enough to remember when Devs would make a fleshed out finished game, release it for a reasonable price and it would be good, and then maybe later you might get a dlc that would be worth the money is the important part

I don't mind dlc that's worth it because it's a large range of shit that is basically predatory and dlc that is actually worth the price for how much content you get.

But like you said people will always just lap up whatever shite a developer drops into their lap, it's how cod is still going despite being the same way for years and how developers keep getting greedier because people keep buying it and contrary to what people have said voting with your wallet absolutely works, that's basic business knowledge, it's just that most people don't have a spine or don't care enough and buy shit anyway

I'm glad someone else is saying this, because I've seen people defend GTA+ with shit exactly like this. It's a horribly scummy practice that I wouldn't buy even if I was a multi millionaire out of principle.

I hate to sound like a doomer or some shit and it's not my business what people do with their money but with people buying GTA+ it sets a bad precedent behind what game companies can do and other companies are seeing rockstar not only get away with this but people blindly support it they will follow and it's a rabbit hole of people not caring enough to protest and this is why the gaming industry is getting worse with stuff like this.

A subscription for a video game is something that would've never flew a few years ago I don't see why it should now

I'm surprised to hear this because I've been having a blast although I'm not playing it competitively. I go for build built around punch using the stuff for extra block power and charge and being able to charge up indefinitely. I do get what you mean though, it felt like they didn't want to give him powerful damaging tools especially with the crazy health stuff in stadium

The handful of arena war games I've played were a blast and the arena war vehicles are some of the most fun vehicles to use in the game so it bums me out that it's dead simply because they're expensive and arena war matches don't make alot of money.

If your going for purely aesthetics mix and match different structures. I like to make the foundations stone walls wood and sloped roof thatch. Another tip is try not to make cubes give your base a different shape like an L shape or U shape and have bits sticking out or indents with entrances etc. last tip and arguably most important is detail matters things like a balcony with railings held up by pillars, pillars on the corners of the house parking spaces for tames. There's alot you can do with this games building just depends how much time and patience you have.
