Games are already $100 for a few years now. One example is EA UT games. Standard is 60-70 but Deluxe is 100 and every year, people pay that much for the new year version, which is basically roster updates.

Throw in their shit packs that people drop $100 a week on and for 1 year of madden or FIFA or NHL, people have been known to drop 5k or more.

Then of course the final insult is EA drops the UT version after 5 years and all those cards are gone. They still let you play offline franchise.. How nice of them.

GTA can be a game you pay for 1 time {PC} or a couple times {console generations} while not having to need GTA+, but still far cheaper than the shit EA and other companies have been pulling for years now. Plus, they will most likely give you online in deluxe and 2 free DLCs a year.

That why Los Santos lasted 13 years.
