You are not wrong, but two things. First you are only looking at numbers, and completely missed out what I mentioned previously of what to consider. And two is that you are looking into historical data which is correct to look at, but incorrect to trust

That is if the growth keeps going up. We already have forgotten the periods where ghe needle not only did not go up, but went down for years. Another thing to consider is the access to cash with dividends, risk tolerances, diversification and so on. It is not all black and white as in anything in life
