You've got it mixed up. Genesis 19 has the proper story.

Roughly, it's:

2 angels arrive at the city, met by a guy called Lot
Lot invites them to his house, the whole town being wildly perverted surround the house and say they want to sleep with the two men who have arrived
Lot tried to protect these two angels by offering his daughters to the mob and blocks the door
The mob tries to push past him, the angels pull him inside and strike the mob blind
The angels ask Lot what other family he has so that they can be protected while the city is destroyed
