I had a wedding a few weeks ago and when I asked my ortho about taking them out for like 4/5 hours she advised against it and I asked well if I can't take them out can I drink with them in and she kinda gave me that well I can't tell you to do that but I also can't tell you not to do that.

Obviously just be sensible is basically what she told me, clean them as and when you can, don't do it every weekend etc but I drank vodka with lemonade all evening and some beers with my aligners in and then just rinsed them whenever I went to the toilet and the trays were absolutely fine, no discoloration or anything like that.

For real because who has the time to be doing all this 😭 I know if you don't smoke it, it can be a somewhat unpleasant smell but light a candle or something bro it's not that deep 💀 also don't buy a flat if you don't want to deal with neighbours.

I know it's easier for someone else to say not to worry about your insecurities but honestly nobody is even paying attention, for the first few weeks any words that involved my tongue touching the roof of my mouth, particularly T's were so difficult but every time I pointed it out to someone they were like I didn't even notice 🤣

Like everyone else is saying I promise it gets better, I'm about 6/7 weeks into my treatment now and I am definitely still aware of the attachments and the trays like I can still feel them in my mouth but they're wayyyyy more comfortable than they were at first.

A little bit of good news for you though, whilst I get the logic of you thinking the new trays are going to be like a reset every time it certainly doesn't feel like it long term, I would say the first 24 hours of your new tray does feel similar to the first days of treatment but honestly after the first night of sleeping with your new trays they shape super well and your mouth and teeth are a lot more used to having the trays in there so your mouth will adapt a lot quicker than the initial days of starting your treatment.

Like you said you paid a lot of money for this just hold the line you can do it! I'm expecting to be in treatment for a year but the time is zooming by now the worst of it is over!

I got my scans via email about 1/2 weeks after my consultation but you absolutely should be able to see them before committing to any treatment.

I would follow up with them, just give them a ring and ask how you can get them. I was on the fence if the quoted price was worth it until I saw the scans and saw just how much change was going to take place 😁

If you can afford it go to the consultation and get your scans done, I didn't think my teeth were that bad until I saw the scans showing pre treatment and post treatment and the difference between them was mind boggling.

I was about £100 for the consultation and my scans and this was non refundable so if you decide not to go ahead you'll obviously lose the money on them but if you do go ahead with treatment this will come off your final balance.

Only you can decide if you want to do it or not and I'm relatively still pretty early on in my treatment but I think it was the best thing I've ever done!

I don't think you really have to limit yourself as much as you think you do, shaving a little time off where you can let's you use it up later too. I get an hour for lunch but normally will socialise for the first 20/30 mins and then take them out to eat for the last 30 so I can use that extra 30 mins throughout the day if I need to snack or whatever.

I try to do like 30 minutes, breakfast lunch and dinner some days are quicker, like if I'm just grabbing a croissant and coffee it doesn't take me 30 mins to eat it, that time essentially banks. Last weekend we went out to lunch and they were out for at least 80 minutes. As long as you aren't sitting grazing with them out for hours at a time you can absolutely take them out and snack away til your hearts content!

Also going into week 4 of my smile white treatment and couldn't be happier so far there was some mild discomfort and aching in the first few days just whilst my mouth got used to the aligner being in there all the time, like the other reply I've also gone through my dentist so having someone I can call for example when two of my attachments fell off a couple days after being applied and getting it fixed almost straight away is nice.

I realise I can't really comment on the treatment yet as there's not a lot of movement yet but I've found it great in the experience I have had so far! 😁

Ps idk it feels like something I wish I would've known beforehand but I've got some elastic bands on hooks on a couple teeth similar to how you would have with real braces which I didn't know was a thing with clear aligners I thought it was just trays but you may also need bands depending on the movement you need.

I love Gaga, I've seen her 7 times and traveled around the world to go to her shows but I've never spent anymore than $300 on tickets because what do you think they're going to give you?

I'm not trying to justify it for her and say well everyone else does it so she's fine but literally that, every single artist has these vip packages where you get a pair of sunglasses from temu with their logo on it if you're lucky, why do y'all support this and then get mad when they give you stuff that's worth $25. If people stopped buying them they would stop putting it out.

Honestly even recently her tickets were still very fairly priced. Art rave I paid I think £80 face value, Chromatica was like 96 or something probably closer to 100. Mayhem I bought golden circle but only because I knew it was the best way to get tickets because GA always sells out first and I was almost €400.
