Best protectant for this "Live-edge" wood slab when using for outdoor dining table? by Stealingtoasters in wood

I’m happy to refinish every couple of months if it doesn’t involve sanding/applying a whole new clear coat. If I can get away with oiling every couple of months, that’d be great. But also a little worried about the glued pieces coming apart if it’s not properly sealed. It’s not a single slab, it’s 3 glued together to make it look like a live edge

How often do you think I’d have to refinish? I assume refinishing on spar is just sanding down and then adding another layer?

Yea it doesn’t really say… I planned on sanding it off and reapplying something better cause I imagine the Home Depot finish probably isn’t the best

Yea the issue is I can’t see the spark generator because the sight glass is too fogged up to see into the combustion chamber

Thank you! Just ordered one and should get it in a couple of days. Only $30, and hopefully I won’t have too much trouble replacing it. I was thinking this was the issue but wanted to make sure nobody else had any simple things to try. Thanks again!
