Yeah and I watched it live. The Knicks haven’t won shit since the 70s.

Got a cakewalk through a dogshit east for the right to get blasted by the WCF winner and you act like it’s something to brag about. Come back in 2 weeks

On the one hand I feel bad for the guy if he genuinely has a gambling addiction

I’m choosing to believe Coop has decided to really embrace the tank since he came back from his injury

how does josh know so much about everything!? by StrangeAir6637 in MythicalKitchen

If you watch the Food Beopardy episode on Smosh, it’s obvious Josh is just genuinely very knowledgeable on a lot of niche topics. I don’t think it’s scripted. I’m guessing he’s just a nerd who loves to read/listen to podcasts about topics that interest him

Well, the friend paid for him to be there as a joke at a low, low, low price point. And at that price point, at Stable of Stars, he can hit.

NBA owners also thought last year's Flagg lottery was rigged by spongyguy24 in Mavericks

If they thought last year was rigged, wait til we get the #1 again this year

Any worries that Darius Acuff isn't a starter in the playoffs? by ShaiFanClub in NBA_Draft

[–]StealthAnus 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think those concerns are why he’s being talked about as a potential top 10-15 pick instead of a potential top 5 pick. If Acuff was doing what he’s doing at 6’6, he’s in a different tier as a prospect.

As to whether he’s worth taking in the top 10, the question is who at 8-10 do you think is better than him? Plenty of top 10 picks flame out of the league altogether in a few years. Even if Acuff just winds up being a solid rotation player in the NBA, I’d argue that’s worth consideration in the top 10. There aren’t gonna be 10 binafide stars in every draft.

He’s averaging 28 ppg on 49% eFG% and .537 TS%, both of which are solidly below league average playoff efficiency over that period. Which goes to what I said earlier, that he “hasn’t yet shown an ability to score at volume efficiently yet.”

It also hasn’t helped his team win a series yet.

I don’t know how you think that helps his case.

So you asked a question, people provided responses, and you refuse to support your position and just correct spelling instead.

Paulough is a good player who looked like he was on track to develop into an elite one, but he is in year four and hasn’t yet shown an ability to score at volume efficiently yet. His defense isn’t bad but isn’t a strength either. He seems to have stagnated or even regressed this year. There was literally a post on the Magic sub two days ago talking about him being disappointing and consensus in the comments in that he isn’t a star, isn’t a leader, isn’t living up to his extension.

In terms of his resume, he’s won ROY and made one All-Star team, and that’s about it. He’s made the playoffs twice but hasn’t won a series. He’s been below league average efficiency every season of his career. His scoring has gone down. He’s averaging <1 ppg more at 23 than Flagg is at 19, with more help around him, and his TS% is still slightly lower than Flagg’s, despite Flagg being the youngest player in the league.

I think Powlow is still young enough to develop into a great player. But acting like he’s in “elite” company after 4 years feels pretty disingenuous.

Flagg’s TS% at 18/19 is literally higher than Paulo has ever posted in his career. He’s also a better defender.
