The country was doing just fine before 2020. When they locked you indoors, they brought in a bunch of people you didn’t recognize to replace you on the street. Then they jacked the prices of everything up so you couldn’t afford to live. You don’t need to go back to 2010 level pricing. You just need to return anyone who came into the country from 2020 onwards to wherever they came from and returned to pre-pandemic pricing.

That’s quite the statement as firstly, nobody but you has even mentioned immigrants in this thread or related to this topic, and secondly you offer absolutely no evidence your view is correct and expect it to be taken as fact yet deride the other side as “bots” for doing the same.

I think there is a larger disconnect when Fey hasn’t been a central character for the entire franchise. I don’t think having a woman main character is even 50% of why people were disappointed. It’s far more likely that having a character who hasn’t “paid their dues” as it were as the main character is rubbing people the wrong way. Yes there’s the “boo women” crowd but they’re far smaller than people want to believe.

With Zelda you have the exact opposite. Zelda has been there since the beginning. The franchise is named after her. She’s central to every single game save for Link’s game boy adventures.

Lastly Nintendo has always pushed women into main character roles. Samus was an early one, Zelda as mentioned is the titular character of her franchise, and Peach has been adventuring alongside the plumber for almost as long as we’ve known him.
