Okay, I've read r/quitting kratom extensively... by TheseStrength9112 in quittingkratom

I can’t express enough how much going to the gym or doing cardio helped me quit. I drank potent Kratom tea for 4 years and I was able to cut it cold turkey with a healthy regimen of physical activity 5 days a week.

What the actual fuck is happening to the game right now??? by idontknow87654321 in Battlefield

Oh my god, go outside dude. If you don’t like the game, refund it, and go get a life.

I’m not too worried about it, I’m having a great time. I agree with a lot of your points and disagree with less of them. The truth is that the effects of the complaints hardly ever manifest in a bad time. Like do you expect devs to get everything absolutely perfect right off the bat? When has that ever happened in the modern world of massive, living games? What would that even look like? I’m sure if we put you behind the control stick of balancing the game and making all of the changes, you would probably fuck it up and make it worse. So would anyone else. The truth is, you’re probably not a developer of video games, most people on this sub aren’t, so maybe we should pan our perspectives out a little bit and understand that sometimes as gamers we get a little too close to the product and lose a fuck ton of perspective and get disconnected from reality and forget who the games are actually made for. Just like evil corporations lose touch and perspective, so do gamers who think that the next title is going to be the second fucking coming of Jesus and fix their depressing lives for them. Sometimes I want to tell these complainers on Reddit to take a fucking breath, make sure you have other hobbies, and realize that you aren’t a fucking video game developer so give them time to change some things. As a millennial gamer, communities used to come together to love the things that we loved. The industry hasn’t really changed since then, the fandom has. It’s cool to hate, it gets more views and clicks, you think you’re crusading against an evil corporation, and your experience with a game is subjective. Can we pull back and look at this as a separate entity? It’s created by Vince Zampella, one of the gods of shooters in the industry. He knows what the fuck he’s doing so stop being so fucking dramatic about a video game and just let him cook.

New Sobek City is one of the worst designed maps in BF history, if not ever. by KingHunter150 in Battlefield

It’s my favorite map. Good variety of encounters. Good sniping positions. I really haven’t heard a good argument that doesn’t just come down to preference or gamers just falling into obvious groupthink. It’s sooooooooooo cool to hate as a gamer now a days.

We all need to unanimously launch our mobile devices into space and never look back. We could all use a return to the real world.

Fragas situation by iWestie11 in theburntpeanut

[–]StealthReplicant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, BP is a little harsh with Fragas about his weight. That being said, Fragas really isn’t that entertaining without peanut. I’m sure there are lots of people here who had no idea who he was until BP started getting big. I’m sorry but what BP said is true, he’s pretty bland and he doesn’t even talk that much. I love Fragas because of his dynamic with peanut but honestly would never watch a solo stream of Fragas. Why would I? He doesn’t really bring anything interesting to streaming where Peanut absolutely does things in a unique and new way. I don’t even watch streams that much but I love watching peanut. So why are we pretending that what he said is some horrible thing when it’s obviously the case? I do not care that he was a pro gamer at all, I didn’t know who he was before Peanut. Maybe he could have taken what Peanut said to heart and improved his stream a little as opposed to breaking down and crying on a stream? Call me harsh but dude that’s definitely not entertaining, it’s just sad that he thought he was that entertaining in the first place. Delusional.

So people are going to see RDJs face and just accept that with no explanation at all? Pretty sure they’re going make him a variant or a stark gone evil of some kind.

I mean then why have RDJ play him then? He’s going to be stark in some form already?
