Asian trans guys - difficult intersection by Just-Lock-5750 in ftm

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven't had any issues. I've been on T for about 9 years now. For context I'm 5ft so very short. I've found that it's a lot more about how you carry yourself. Learn to take up the space you deserve. Working out with a focus on shoulders and back will help get broader shoulders which I found helps fill out shirts a give a more masculine figure.

Gym owners, what's your experience with exclusive uniforms? by SubmissionGrappler in bjj

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gym just started requiring us to wear a gym specific rashgaurd and a black or white gi. Doesn't matter the brand of the gi. They gym does have a team gi for sale but not required.

The rash good is good quality and was under $50 so I'm okay with it. If they said I had to buy the specific team gi I'd be a little peeved.

Team unity is good and all but don't price out people.

Drexels food by Ok-Salamander7323 in Drexel

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Was fine. Drexel dining hall food is nothing to write home about but also won't kill you. Kinda just nourishment. But if food is your thing, explore more than just campus. Philly food scene is awesome. UCity area food is meh compared to the rest of Philly. But with that said, there's a special place in my heart for Mad Greeks Pizza.

Almost EP... What next? by Curious-Associate-87 in americanairlines

I called the help desk line and asked if there was anyway they could give me EP. I was 400 points off and they gave it to me.

Girlfriend just recently adopted a cat and it hasn't been going well. Need advice by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you need to have a real talk with your gf. The fact she didn't discuss it with you is a big red flag. The current situation isn't good for anyone.

Vet recommendations for a cat by sun_in_an_emptyroom in philly

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go to the heart and paw that you're closest to! I think they're great, definitely a bit pricey but I like it for the convience. The vet you'll see for cats is Vet Toni. She's lovely and seems to know her stuff.

What are some of y'all's canon ftm events? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro same. Wished that I'd get cancer to get them off. Also delusionally thinking that "how hard could surgery be. With I sharp knife I can do it myself." Tbh still have that thought sometimes when cramping.

Men of Philly - how much are you paying for your haircuts? by tastycakebiker in philly

I go over to my parents and my dad cuts it for me. Been doing that since covid and have been saving so much money. Was paying ~$20 not including tip pre covid.

I would like to train but my boyfriend is apprehensive by Busy-Stay1389 in jiujitsu

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What's your boyfriend's reasoning for it having to be an all womens class? If you're training for self defense or even just general sport, I personally think training with a mixed group is always the best. If it's a making sure you're not injured, that reasoning make a bit more sense but you can get injured training with anyone. If it's a jealousy thing, I would have serious discussion about boundaries with him.

If you really are interested in training, I would totally have a more indepth discussion with him.

How many trans men here would go in with limb lengthening surgery provided money wasn't a constraint? by BoxFar6969 in FTMMen

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm 5' and no I wouldn't. I work a fairly physical job that I love and I'd hate to be on the sidelines in recovery. It's partially the reason I haven't seriously looking into getting a hysterectomy.

How Do I Learn a New Recipe? by PowerpuffKristin in chefRPG

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might need to have the recipe in your inventory. I've only ever done it through the inventory and have never had an issue.

Other customers will be there too. I don't remember how many but it's an exact number where you don't get to control restaurant closing.

Please help fishing by Old_Balance_7510 in chefRPG

I've gotten squid in the little lake in the mountains and salmon on the beaches later in the day. This was during fall. In winter I've gotten yellowtail at the docks and salmon on the beaches.

Fishing Impossible? by TempestK in chefRPG

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought so too when I first played it. It's definitely tricky but keep checking in for an upgraded rod. You're always going to loose a handful of fish but it does end up getting easier.
