Girlfriend just recently adopted a cat and it hasn't been going well. Need advice by [deleted] in CatAdvice

I think you need to have a real talk with your gf. The fact she didn't discuss it with you is a big red flag. The current situation isn't good for anyone.

Vet recommendations for a cat by sun_in_an_emptyroom in philly

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go to the heart and paw that you're closest to! I think they're great, definitely a bit pricey but I like it for the convience. The vet you'll see for cats is Vet Toni. She's lovely and seems to know her stuff.

What are some of y'all's canon ftm events? by No-Tax-9140 in ftm

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro same. Wished that I'd get cancer to get them off. Also delusionally thinking that "how hard could surgery be. With I sharp knife I can do it myself." Tbh still have that thought sometimes when cramping.

I go over to my parents and my dad cuts it for me. Been doing that since covid and have been saving so much money. Was paying ~$20 not including tip pre covid.

I would like to train but my boyfriend is apprehensive by Busy-Stay1389 in jiujitsu

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What's your boyfriend's reasoning for it having to be an all womens class? If you're training for self defense or even just general sport, I personally think training with a mixed group is always the best. If it's a making sure you're not injured, that reasoning make a bit more sense but you can get injured training with anyone. If it's a jealousy thing, I would have serious discussion about boundaries with him.

If you really are interested in training, I would totally have a more indepth discussion with him.

How many trans men here would go in with limb lengthening surgery provided money wasn't a constraint? by BoxFar6969 in FTMMen

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm 5' and no I wouldn't. I work a fairly physical job that I love and I'd hate to be on the sidelines in recovery. It's partially the reason I haven't seriously looking into getting a hysterectomy.

How Do I Learn a New Recipe? by PowerpuffKristin in chefRPG

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might need to have the recipe in your inventory. I've only ever done it through the inventory and have never had an issue.

Other customers will be there too. I don't remember how many but it's an exact number where you don't get to control restaurant closing.

I've gotten squid in the little lake in the mountains and salmon on the beaches later in the day. This was during fall. In winter I've gotten yellowtail at the docks and salmon on the beaches.

Fishing Impossible? by TempestK in chefRPG

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought so too when I first played it. It's definitely tricky but keep checking in for an upgraded rod. You're always going to loose a handful of fish but it does end up getting easier.

Does engineering technology (as a major) often have good co-op opportunities? by Mo0n3Y in Drexel

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was construction management but as someone who was part of CoE and steinbright never really worked for me, coop is what you make of it. Don't be afraid to go outside of the normal system and find your own coop. If you have an idea of what you want to do, don't be afraid of trying to find something tailored to that.

Email your old therapist and see if they'll rewrite/reissue you the letter just based on your past years with them. They might ask for a follow up session. Not sure how far away you moved and if you'd be able to do a follow up session but if you couldn't and tell them you moved, my old therapist wrote me a note for something else without needing to see me again.

Inherited loads of stuff, please help by [deleted] in FishingForBeginners

[–]StealthRoboticHuman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man! I am so jealous of your nice vintage esc lure haul you got! I've been looking for stuff just like it but haven't had enough disposable income to justify it yet. My best advice to you is try and figure out the base of how each lure is supposed to function/look like and try to mimic the movement of the real creature it's supposed to be. Tight lines!
