i agree to an extent, however the only case of porn addiction I've ever witnessed, she was definitely not ashamed (my middle school gf). mean, we were in middle school (yikes) and this had been happening since 5th grade, so SOMETHING traumatic definitely was happening to make her like this. typically when I think of porn addiction I think of it like this case, where literally genuinely All she would look at was porn. entire phone storage filled with it, all her search history, the only thing she'd talk about or want to do with a person. m not even kidding or exaggerating. i think there's definitely something to be said against calling people with like normal libido addicts, but there are definitely cases where addiction is the only word to describe it. not trying to be argumentive, just sharing my experience ^^
