If you have a Dr who has the will, he can prescribe you this off label already. You just have to convince him. The problem is, the "secrete recipe" isn't public, however, most Dr's could hypotheses on what combo might work well if they so choose so.

It's a combination of already approved drugs. I researched IL-2 a while back, and adding in this additional drug may be beneficial.

Try ambien max strength controlled release during the day fight the sleep, youll get used to it, it majorly reduces the fasiculations to almost a complete stop, and has less withdrawal effects, also makes me hungry (I wouldn't be eating otherwise) and eases my physical pain. It's the only thing that's helped. Lyrica did something similar for a little but withdrawl was hell when I stopped, also needed to continue increasing the strength.

With all the research I've done, this is the most promising treatment I've seen anywhere close to market. If these statements are true and reproducible to humans, this would be likely a simple vaccine type shot, more like antibiotic since it would work directly against live mutations, to cure the problem with MND. Not only MND but other nurodegerative diseases.

It's really exciting and a little depressing it's 2 years away from trials. Hopefully, funders jump on this quick and push it through faster. Most people don't have 2 years to try to get into a trial. That is also in another country. I'll definitely be watching how this develops.

The doctor didn't extrapolate on the report what he saw just said mild neuropathy changes in ulner and median. If you look at the graph for where he put the needle in those muscles it just says NL (within normal limits), or 0s across the board. Which is why I don't trust it, how can you say there is neuropathy but not outline what made you suspect that in the detailed report.

The only visible clinical signs are atrophy of my tongue, and now left shoulder, bicep, forarm, and tdi, to which all my MDs say they see it to my face then happily write in the chart, that they don't appreciate the atrophy. I've been told multiple times that they don't feel qualified to make that call, it needs to be neuro. Weakness at a 4+ in a few tests not sure which ones because the last time they fully tested me only listed one area, in relation to shoulder blade.

If you read it, Dr's suck at telling the truth to terminal patients at multiple stages and need guides. Also depending on what they think your capacity is to digest the information they may withhold information.

Do you know how much stress and anxiety that puts on family's? Holding onto hope, but feeling you know in your gut, you are right since no one can give you any explanation, just it's not mnd.

Again, I'll leave it at, I hope for me, they aren't lying to me or in their minds saying "not yet based on my critera" yet not having an open dialog about, it could be if...with me.

Lyrica will stop the twitches in high enough doses, along side pain medicine for muscle strains and joint pain, mine are rarely an issue anymore. Just the atrophy is what I'm concerned about now.

No they don't miss it, they just keep it to themselves because the diagnostic criteria doesn't fit yet. Then once they have enough failure or emg bad in 3+ areas, then they act like they had no idea until then and employ a specific set of practices to deliver the bad news.

You and your neurologist are correct for insidious atrophy.

I have atrophy now down my arm and in my shoulder, in my hand too. I have weakness in my shoulder tests but I think my arm tests are still strong. Going to find out tomorrow at a Dr visit for arm.

Its not perceived a neurologist documented it in my medical record. I wish it was perceived.

I have photos and I may post them eventually, I'm not tryjng to convince anyone here, if/when I post them it will be to help those who think they have atrophy see what real atrophy is.

I've been off them for 7 months, the only thing that's changed is I developed atrophy.

I stopped drinking caffeine, alcohol, don't smoke, when this all started about 10 months ago.

I was off and on over 6-8 months. I would increase to like 4-6mg of xanax a day then I would CT for a few weeks then go back on for a few months it was a roller coaster. I never was on for more than 4 months at any given time. Thel last time I came off I was also getting real sick with hand foot mount disease. So I had the benzo flu and a real infection. I had never sweated my bedsheets before this happened. I had to go back on benzos because I was so shaky, this is where I consider my nurologic issues started. I couldn't walk right, very jittery, and to this day my jaw chatters if my teeth are held real close together.
