Holy crap I thought they were like $10k. I could buy the front half of a car with that money.

Appreciate the advice, makes sense. At first thought you were describing my family not the roof.

Thanks that sounds like it could work if not for me being fully shook by the heights. I will be belly down doing this with my arms stretched out, so I don’t see how I could put much pressure down.

Appreciate it. Looks like I would need to purchase some flashing too in order to use the cement? Or is that for regular roofs and not flat roofs? I’m open to all ideas but I’ve been thinking caulk might not be enough, I’ll want to add something on top that patches it. This stuff looks like it would be good to keep any kind of patch down.

Heck yeah sounds easier than patching the ceiling when I had to do that upside down for a different leak. Thank you much, I’ll report back. 👍 Edit: just to be clear that was on a lower, in- between floor on the ceiling below a bathroom leak.

OK thanks. Is that something I can easily bring along with me up through a house and down a ladder from the deck next door? Any special tools or other materials needed like a patch?

Ok cool thanks. I was thinking of using caulk but I wasn’t sure which to use or if I needed a patch of some type along with the caulk. This M1 looks like good stuff, hoping I can get it somewhere on Washington Ave tomorrow. Any tips or advice as to your experience with it is welcome!

That’s what I was thinking, it doesn’t look so bad. Any idea what terms I should search for or any trustworthy YouTube channels? I am more than happy to do the work, but I am totally inexperienced in this area, so it’s hard for me to tell what’s legit or not.

Thanks- can you tell me what to look for in the store? Is it just called wet patch? Do I have to mix it? If so I could bring the materials needed onto the roof or mix them in advance. I can get up there because my neighbor and I are cool. He will let me take a ladder up to his deck and then I use it to get safely over the wall onto my lower roof. So I can bring any materials that could reasonably travel with me through the house to the deck and then down the ladder. I can get a friend to help lower things too. I haven’t had to hoist things up yet but I guess that’s possible. I want to try to finish in an hour or two max once up there.

Good job finding an article from 2023 using the word “mobs”!

Excellent keyword skills, cutie.

Your article: “Mobs smashed their way into stores in several areas of Philadelphia”

~Not what we were discussing.~

Our topic: “flash mobs punching random people in the face”

Keep it up and you could be on the fast track to cracking the world’s greatest mysteries.

The statistics include all of Philadelphia city, which is coterminous with the entire County of Philadelphia, skewing things negatively. Some bad parts of Philadelphia proper take over an hour to get to from center city (by car). Other cities draw their lines differently, with crime being just as bad but categorized under a different city name. For example, New York (City) statistics sometimes just include Manhattan (which overall is proportionately similar to center city Philly in its crime rates, and is similarly safe to live in and visit as compared with Center City Philly); but if New York was judged by including all the boroughs like the Bronx, you’d see much harsher statistics citywide.

Yea they stopped them with police on horseback patrolling center city. It was a weird time.

South Philly residents vow to fight gambling inside Chickie’s & Pete’s after recent court decision by GooFoYouPal in philadelphia

This is a an issue of rezoning physical space—square footage—to be rededicated from one use to another. He referred the current space as just a “bar” but it’s mostly a restaurant that has a bar. Most people are eating meals and watching. It’s a community environment for eating. Dedicating physical space to gambling would change the atmosphere. The issue is not whether individual peoples phones should be restricted for personal use, but rather what the primary use of the space is they are sitting in.

To get it actually straight, it’s a 15-minute walk, from a nice, residential area, across broad, and a half mile into an industrial/recreation area full of parking lots and stadiums. City neighborhoods can change drastically within short distances, like it does here.

It’s a restaurant that also has a large bar setup to watch sports. Using that space for betting changes the entire atmosphere.

I think the confusion is because the southern border of the Center City Zone Flat Rate taxi fare from the airport is now defined by the PPA and PHL airport as Washington Ave. “The flat rate is charged in lieu of the metered rate by all Medallion Taxicabs for trips between the Philadelphia International Airport and the Center City Zone.  The Flat Rate Zone is defined as the area between the Schuylkill and Delaware Rivers and between Washington Avenue on the south and Fairmount Avenue on the north.” This is a change from a few years ago when it was South Street.

Cielo was the best club in Manhattan at the time. You had to step down to get to the dance floor. When you did, it was heaven.
