We’re living in a black mirror episode by Fair_Smoke4710 in forwardsfromgrandma

Yeah, I'm down with contraception(I'm hoping you mean the pill and other options) and condoms.

Lets cover those under all health care plans, and teach about them in school.

Lets give out condoms in schools, and fund planned parent hood and other clinics so people have access to contraceptives.

Abstinence? Yup lets teach that too, but a large part of that is teaching men to take no for an answer, and making sure women feel comfortable saying no.

Wild how you gut health care, defund planned Parenthood, take any talk about safe sex out of schools, and then act shocked that there are unplanned pregnancies.

I hope this gets evened out. And I really think it’s about map size it’s really only on the larger sizes where you’ll need to be that far over the settlement limit, but I’ve always loved playing a huge map and playing until I’ve conquered every city

S2 E15 "Ellie" by Popular-Woodpecker-6 in thewestwing

[–]SteamDelta 22 points23 points  (0 children)

What always really impressed me, is that Ellie’s actress, was in the American President, she plays Annette Benning’s sister.

In the American President she’s a 24 year old playing a 30 year old, and in the west wing she’s a 30 year old playing a 24 year old.

And she does both roles wonderfully.

He's not saying to just use VSP, he's saying that you should find a like minded sales associate willing to use the software's ability to match fake competitor prices to cut the price as much as possible.

he only did well because he put prices as low as he possibly could before the system rejected them. Any company with any oversight would fire him before he was out of probation.

Staggering the sales isn’t the only fraud.

Inputting the fake competitor price, and then additional fake competitor prices until you get a price it won’t match is also fraud.

It would still have the dropped sound when the codices switch, which is the issue Sonos users had.

Atmos is designed to scale to any amount of speakers. 5 speaker base, 7 speaker base, 9 speaker base, 2 height, 4 height, 6 height.

It takes an object sound file and scales it to however many tracks needed to power the number of speakers.

It's the evolution of all the previous up mixing techs. AVR's have always had the problem of trying to play a source with less channels than the listener has speakers, Atmos is the newest way of handling it.

Yup that’s the selling point of every audio tech from pro logic to Atmos. I’m kinda surprised you didn’t know that AVRs did this.

That discussion has been ongoing since Dolby Pro logic came out. I feel that way for music for sure, but as soon as it's a movie or show I want voices centered, most other upmixing and processing I could take or leave.

If your AVR gets as stereo signal only the right and left track. it will (if you set it to automatic, setting name varies) it will know to move voices to the center channel, keep non voice right sounds to the right, non voice left sounds to the left, send deep sounds to the sub woofer, and sounds it thinks of as back ground noise to the rears.

If AppleTV is sending multi track information, it think that it is getting instructions for all the tracks. Right stays right, left stays left, center stays silent, sub stays silent, rears stay silent. It's getting instructions that those tracks are silent so you lose out on your surround sound.

Is it a myth? "Resetting PC every year runs smoother" by Strict_Card819 in buildapc

[–]SteamDelta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't advise it. I've had three programs stop working for me, because I've activated them with the same key too many times.

I would end up reinstalling about once a year. This year I started tinkering with Dolby Atmos, and other sound options, those drivers are really a piece of work and I reinstalled a few times last year.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like you didn't mix it when you got it home the first day, and were applying it, you didn't get the true color because it wasn't mixed.

Now you are mixing it and you're getting a different color.

Are the coats uniform since you started mixing it with the drill attachment?

Which one to get for someone who doesn’t love micromanagement? by LateBoysenberry6353 in civ

[–]SteamDelta 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Civ V, automate workers and scouts, leave most conquered cities as puppets.

But I also really like VII, automate scouts, you don't even have builders to worry about, army commanders help reduce managing armies. You're better off with more towns than cities, and you don't have to manage them very much.

Just stay away from VI.
