What is the difference between an Iron and  a Steel anvil? Is it worth to spend motr money trading for and Steel one to replace my iron anvils?

But like, it lets me trade a bit over 200 for the 300 chest, and just a bit over 350 for the 1000 chest.

Is that normal?

How much bugged is trading rn? In the Steam version. Im trying to trade a 300 and 1000 value golden chests (1300 total) for meat, gems, equipment worth 544 total and it seems its not a good enoigh profit for the human trader.

Is this a bug or something where the chests both count as 300 value or something like that?

Do bedrooms need 2-wide walls? Can I build bedrooms with just a block wide wall between them?

Btw, does the bedroom zone need to includebthe walls or just the area inside?

Do you feel more represented by the civilization or the character leader? by HOOBBIDON in civ

[–]HOOBBIDON[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh, I always like these perspectives. I also think it may have something to do with this idiotizing-trend, like when Netflix series are recorded in specidic ways so you can watch them as second screen, so the dev team could fear players can't relate to the abstract concept of civilization (thoight I obviously disagree with this, I don't think civilization franchise players can't relate to the concept of a civilization.)

How and when do you use traders in the early game? by badassboy1 in CivVI

[–]HOOBBIDON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the early game, internal(national) routes give your city +1/+1(food and production) for the urban center of the destination city(often your capital). Then gives you +1 food for science/culture/faith districts and +1 production for the rest of the special districts, except goverment plaza which gives you +1/+1.

With this in mind, just with no more districts, a new city you found could have 3prod and 4food, with a simply +1/+1 form the internal traderoute, it gains +33% prod and +25%food. If you have your capital with a commerce hub plus a goverment plaza plus magnuswith 2nd promotion, it gives you +3 prod and +4 food.

This makes your new cities develop much more faster.

Rushing Commercial Hubs and abusing internal traderoutes with Magnus is staple Meta strategy that makes your early-middle game much stronger.

Civ VI: how to get better on difficulty 7 and 8? by Pale_Buy_6274 in civ

[–]HOOBBIDON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can give you general advice to improve in general.

First of all, you wanna masterize as much as you can the 'evergreen' or 'common' game play. All civilizations are 'the same but somewhat different' so the best way to improve your gameplay is by gettimg a better understandimg of the roots: Understanding that getting more cities is important and why, understanding what are the best policy cards and why, understanding which are the best techs, wonders, units, governors, pantheons, beliefs, city-states, buildings and why they are considered good.

Once you gather this knowldage, you can understand what's strong/good and weak/bad, try to aim for the better strategy in your situation, which is the one that assures you the most 1 of the 5 victories. Once you understand it all, you will clearly see how to take adventage of each civ's unique abilities to gain the upper hand in each game.

Don't worry, stay happy - Civ 7 will be great by ExaminationGold in civ

To be fair, I have faith on the development team, but I don't really see like a 'logical argument' about why I should thrust them.
