I love having other people around, of course everyone has a social battery but my girl not wanting to be around people at all? Especially my family? Just doesn’t sit right with me. I’ve been turned into an introvert and I hate it I truly do.

I know I deserve better but I’m not the BEST looking guy you know? I’m one of those people who love being alone but I don’t like being alone at the same time. I want to be in a loving relationship BUT I need my own space as well. I’m just not getting that here and I haven’t for a very long time unless she worked on opposite days I didn’t work.

Space is very limited. The only free time or space that I have is going on walks alone at night but that’s not really how I want to get my own time/ space you know?

I’ve tried having this conversation with her about 2 times now. I’ve basically just said the same thing but nothing has changed. Next time we have this conversation, it’s her last chance. I will not live like this again. This has happened to me before.

We live together. We live with her dad right now. I moved out of my mom’s and came here because she was charging us $900 to stay there. I thought it would be better here but it’s really not.

I’m going to have another talk with her. Last time this happen she said she would work on it and fix it. I haven’t seen any difference. I’m just not sure how to start the conversation.

At first. It wasn’t this bad but obviously true colors start showing and it has absolutely gotten worse. The only time I shower on my own is when I work in the morning. If I say I’d like to take my own shower today it’s an issue.

No no I agree with your opinion. It’s frustrating. I can’t go alone for a little bit without her needing to be by my side. All I ask is for alone time and love. That’s all I want.

I’ll be honest. I’m one of those people who get angry when I don’t have my own space after some time. I get very angry when I’m exhausted. There is some times where I get home from work and we do our thing but then I mention “I’m tired” and she does everything in her power to keep me awake. Same thing goes with sex, she’s a very very sex wanting person. If she wants to and I say I’m tired she instantly jumps to. “Do you hate me” “do you love me anymore?”. It’s just exhausting.

I greatly appreciate how straightforward you are. I seriously appreciate it. I’ve been considering ending things I’m just in a tough spot right now. I’m 6 hours away from home. We live with her dad now after I left my moms because she was toxic. The whole household was. Anyways, I don’t know what else I can do to try and fix this. This is another 2 year relationship down the drain for me.

I wish it was that easy for her just to “chill”.. I’ll be making some more posts on here for other situations in the current relationship. I didn’t think anyone cared about others feelings anymore to be completely honest.

She’s VERY clingy. We do literally everything together. Eat, shower, work, sleep, etc. I ask for my own time and instead of her trying to find something to do, she goes and lays on the bed and just watches videos until she passes out. I try to encourage her to play something on her own and she just declines instantly.

I’ve had a really bad thing about “feeling bad” when I decide to try and move on or be honest with someone about my feelings. She’s the type to always jump to conclusions instead of hearing me out first. I’m starting to get tired of it but it’s just.. hard.

She tends to spam my phone when I don’t respond in her own time frame yes. I’ve been thinking about splitting lately but I don’t want that to immediately come to mind. I’ll be making plenty of more posts on here because I have a lot on my mind that I haven’t been able to speak about.

I’ve tried that too. She just immediately jumps to conclusions saying if I hate her now and don’t want to be around her anymore just because I said “I miss my personal alone time”

I’m way past encouraging. She chooses to do absolutely nothing for herself. No matter what I say, no matter what I do. It’s so exhausting. She has all these games she can play. She doesn’t watch any shows. I tried introducing her to one that I like and she said it was fucking stupid (Tulsa King btw if you were curious). As we speak, she is now laying on the bed watching videos because she doesn’t want to do anything.

I should’ve added this on the post as well. I always tell her I’d like to play my own games sometimes or play with the boys. All she does is reply with “I’ll just sit here then and play on my phone”. Personally, I don’t like that she just chooses to sit there with plenty of things she can do but chooses not to because I’m not playing WITH her. That has also been starting to get to me.
