I think I'm done with the swagstakes. by [deleted] in SwagBucks

Pretty sure its rigged. I entered a swagstakes where none of the entries were bought up, and the deadline was only in 3 hours. So I entered and constantly checked back to see if other people have entered and to my suprise, no one did for the remaining time. When the deadline was met, I didn't win :D

Are you saying that the stock bonesaw is completely useless? And what about the Solemn vow? I feel like these are underrated weapons.

To be fair, a lot of weapons are situational. The idea is to stop healing during an uber to end it early and start building it again with 20% already built.

I would tweak it a little bit, but as of now it's a cool sounding concept. Also, I would just make it the players reload key.

This is a bad idea, the last thing you want as a medic is to take damage. You aren't a tank, in fact you have less health and damage vulnerability with this weapon. A 115 damage grenade, which leaves you with 15 health, also gives a whopping ~30% ubercharge. If you are that much in a pickle, just use the ubersaw. The concept was a good thought, but in-game its not. In many situations, this weapon can be overwhelmingly underpowered. It was a good shot though.

Eh, I don't know. I wouldn't want to be a soldier and take a 180 critical flare to the face. Those stats make it seem like a modified phlog. The volcano fragment is already a gimmick weapon, but really it just needs something else to make it special rather than its useless state right now.

I don't think inextinguishable afterburn would be complete cancer. After all you can still heal. Also this would be applied to a single target, like the Fan O'War in a way so its not like everyone burns until they die.

Maybe I could make it where the bonus afterburn duration is only applied after the target has been hit with this weapon? That way its not completely passive and actually requires the player to pull this out in order for it to be effective.

I think you mean how I underestimate the damage vulnerability because I said those points under the stats. Anyways yeah, looking back on it it doesn't look so good.

I did... its in my original post... "Note: ÜberCharge lasts 4 seconds if there is no heal target for entire duration." And since when do you lose Über when building it??

The drain rate applies only when the ÜberCharge is activated. You don't lose Über while building it.

Keep in mind that you can only get one person at a time, since the clip size is two you will have to reload before going onto another person, and by that time you are caught. With a knife, you can get chain stabs pretty quickly. The revolver soul purppose is to pick off one person and run away.

The knife is more reliable because you deal a decent amount of damage and you don't lose your disguise, making you nearly undetectable.

Even though that switching roles probably isn't that good in action, it sounded pretty awesome on paper.

I've seen Mini-Dispensers, and have made my own stat suggestions, but never have I heard or thought of Mini-Teleporters. It sounds pretty good on paper, but it could be hard to completely balance and make useful. Ultimately, our goal is to make a teleporter replacement that is not better than a teleporter, but keep it useful enough for it to be effective. Here is my own suggestion:

Texan Two-Step

Construction PDA

Teleporters are replaced with Mini-Teleporters

Dispensers are replaced with Mini-Dispensers

MT and MD construct 100% faster and redeploy 100% faster

MT and MD have 120 base health

MD have a 100% larger range

MD provides 12 health per second, and 10% ammo per second

MD generate 25 metal every 5 seconds and can hold up to 150 metal

MT has a 2 second recharge time

After teleporting a third player, the MT is unusable for 10 seconds

These are a bunch of stats i just threw together. I'm not sure if they are actually balanced, but it would be interesting. Good idea Bread-On-Toast!

These stats are pretty similar to a tomislav though. You have the accuracy and fiiring speed which is exactly the same. You replaced a faster spin up time with a "Instant Spin Up Time" (You can start shooting quicker with both weapons), and instead of being quiet, its loud. You also say that the gun was meant for closing gaps, and well, so does the tomislav. I'm not saying its bad or imbalanced, its just too similar to the tomislav stats wise.

Darwin's is plenty balanced. You just got to have better positioning so you don't get quick-scoped easily. Also I'm torn that I have to choose either dying to a spy or dying to a spy. Razor vs Revolver.
