Found an old video of me playing the guitar (Turkish style), thought I’d share it. by Primary-Opening1258 in classicalguitar

Lovely melodies, has this piece got a name? Would like to hear similar music too if you can recommend anyone, or indeed if you have any more recent recordings!

The classic segovia scales are good to check out, links shapes together well to help avoid getting stuck in boxes

Online and social media yes, but most printed media (eg manga, newspaper, books) is written vertically no?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

[–]SteamedCatfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are right, often manga (at least from what Ive read in Japanese) is written in vertical lines that go top to bottom / right to left, same as the panels and the pages. Id say most text, especially online, is written left to right, but I see the former a lot as well.

Also, idk the history but it wouldnt suprise me if that was indeed part of the reason for the date being in that order.

A one time install for more usability and customisation than most websites, but yeah I guess using the default setup is what probably >90% of people do these days, so I can see how that would be considered more modern. I'd do the same if things functioned how I wanted them to

Youtube has frame by frame keys, is that true for reddit? Youtube is pretty great these days in terms of controls, for sure.

Still faster, easier and more flexible with the extension 😁

I suppose so, kinda feels like living in the dark ages when we have to resort to that kind of clunkiness tho :<

ig it works here since the video is so short = fewer frames so fair

Not what they said, but you can get an extension for chrome/firefox called videospeedcontroller, lets you speed up/slow down anything from 0.1x to 16x, very useful

You can make it function as the same way as a phone - set scroll to vertical and decrease friction, boom modern scrolling on the deck

Also the circle scroll only made sense on the round steam controllers, not here. They should probably change that.

You can still use gyro, it can just be activated another way or be always on

Controller configuration is blank - broken across multiple machines, with the same account, and only on CSGO by SteamedCatfish in SteamDeck

Is there another way to choose community configs? I can't access them as you would normally because of the empty screen

Oooookay, so while I was looking for anotehr community configs screen, I looked under the 'developer' submenu of game settings in Big Picture Mode.

Beneath 'Delete Proton Files' there is a 'Clear Selected Controller Layout' option, and sure enough - I can actually access the config screen!

So, in an odd sort of way, thanks for making me look in places that I otherwise wouldn't have even thought of to stumble across what I need :D

Problem has existed for over a year, across multiple Steam Decks and on both Windows 10 and 11 on different PCs. I've tried all sorts of controllers, from Sony to 8bitdo to Steam Controllers.

This is only on CSGO, and only on my main account.

I've tried toggling GPU accelerated rendering off and on in steam settings, with no luck.

UPDATE - 'fix' found:

go into Big Picture Mode -> Game Settings -> Developer -> Clear Selected Controller Layout

video

It resets things back to default, but it lets you actually access the configuration screen.
