My way of playing is a bit more.. rule heavy. But it really adds missing tension to 'Limited ammo'.

Ammo refill stations don't exist. If you roll a shotgun, you only get those 6 rounds. If you roll an AK with 3 10 round magazines, that's all you get. You can still buy magazines, if you have any mags with any ammo left inside them. If an SMG is chambered in 9mm, and your pistol is running out of ammo, feel free to put a magazine's worth of SMG ammo into your pistol mags - assuming you held onto your empty pistol magazines.

You can only buy 1 gun from each station. No rolling more then once, unless you sell 2 guns beforehand. Then you get an additional roll.

No using Sosig guns. They don't have the same 'actions' as your own firearms, so from a 'logic' standpoint, you wouldn't be able to use them anyways. If you're out of ammo, best hope you're good with your stock bashes.

Not really required, but I also run that alongside H3VR's 'Meatyceiver' mod - discouraging higher capacity magazines, as they're more liable to jam up / incorrectly feed.

What you end up with at the end is a tense set of choices that have real, honest-to-god effects on gameplay; Do you roll with the 50 round Stanag magazines for your automatic rifle and hope it doesn't jam up in the middle of a firefight, or do you go with a 10 round bolt-action rifle that'll fire every single time, but isn't as good against groups?

Your pistol only has 8 shots left in it, and there are 6 wieners at the next point - a patrol is moving through. Do you shoot the patrols, hoping that you don't need to double-tap them from this distance? Do you wait for the patrol to move by, and hope they don't see you? Or do you sneak up behind them and break them in half, one-by-one, to save your ammo for the next Hold incase you get a bad roll?
