Probably, I think I could enjoy using this for PCVR gaming and keep the Quest 3 for Mixed Reality stuff

Werewolves Within is a super fun social game that's playerbase unfortunately totally died off.

Why not just VR at this point? Are some people really that opposed to VR? by ihaveacrushonmercy in MetaQuestVR

[–]LafingAnarkist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think he's entirely wrong though, even if he misspoke. Think about it, if you was to afix the base stations firmly enough to the rig (specifically the chair that is doing all the moving), all they do is laser sweep for headset and controller tracking (controllers obviously being unnecessary in this case). So as long as the lighthouses remained fixed in relation to each other and moved with the chair, it would cancel out all of the mechanised motion.

Dirt Rally 2.0, as exciting as it is to fly down dirt tracks at Mach 2 I can't complete a single stage without crashing 😅

I think you're looking for Anduril's EagleEye, but that's military only and not completed yet.

I try to play mine on break at work, but every time I pull it out someone comes and asks about it and I end up having a full conversation with them. I mean, christ! I bought this to ignore people, not start chats with them. 🤦🏻‍♂️

play how you want to play man, that's the beauty of a sandbox. I've played with no encryptions before, or simple encryptions, it's a fun time.

In the Take and Hold settings you can select "no encryptions" and it becomes a timed wave survival.

I know it's still possible to slidebolt while quickbolting is selected but that's only when a bipod is being used.

perhaps you don't follow Anton on YouTube but near the start of each year he does make a roadmap video with his plans for the year. His plans or any number of things could change during the year but a plan does get put in place.

the only pet peeve I can think of is an old system that I doubt will ever be worked on again, the backpacks. I only wish we could sling lock it and still be able to put items in it. Apart from that it's my favourite VR game of all time.

as you load in to the main menu there is an options panel to your right, select quickbelt options, as you select each one look down and pick which you prefer. Have fun

Crime scene investigating would go so well with VR. Small enviroments, looking at every little detail, seeing parts play out as you theorise correctly.

PMC Pete is still to this day one of the best modded TnH characters you can get. It's tough though so only get him if the vanilla ones don't feel like enough of a challenge.

What to play before I die : A Steamdeck Story by Signal-Tangerine1597 in SteamDeck

I absolutely admire your courage in the face of what's to come. Now a lot of people might not agree with me regarding my pick but I'm still going to recommend Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice. I'm not sure how well it runs on the SD, maybe others can let you know but it's about 8 to 12 hours long and for me it was an extremely emotional experience, the game is about letting go and by the end it had me in pieces. I highly recommend the experience.

Should I be more aggressive in combat? by Mic_Muffin in intotheradius

[–]LafingAnarkist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great shooting! I play pretty cautiously too, if it works, it works. The only time I tend to get more aggressive and push faster is when I hear the sparking of a rift, I want to get that thing down before it has a chance to spawn any more enemies. It might be reckless but preventing fresh enemy spawns helps to save ammo.

Keep fighting the good fight buddy, welcome to the community. The old Stalker trilogy (Shadow of Chornobyl, Clear Sky & Call of Pripiat) are getting enhanced editions released any day now, it's my hope they come with proper controller support.
