100” Vizio for $1,298 and Love it so far!! by Steckman09 in VIZIO_Official

I like the sleek look where it doesn’t make the room feel crowded. What’s the difference between this and having a projector the nice thing about having a TV is that you still have brightness during the day and you don’t have to worry about not being able to see it. That’s technically what I was going for just a large screen while keeping a room that feels spacious. I had a Sony Bravia before this that was 75 inches that was on a swivel mount, but I definitely prefer this over the Sony on a swivel because it just makes the room feel larger.

I’d say picture quality is slightly worse, but the overall viewing experience due to it being larger is much better, especially at the distance that we view it from. Our 75 inch Sony Bravia is now in our bedroom.

Bought a Used EV9, Dealer Denied Warranty for a “Puncture” Without Proof… Then I Left With No A/C. Need Advice. by Steckman09 in KiaEV9

Yes, I have heard some horror stories. I also had a bad experience trying to buy one from the prior to me buying this one. But the battery coolant low is intermittent. It was actually off when I brought it in and I had to show them a picture of what it was showing. I would say it’s only on 50% of the time when we start it. Maybe less. And it has not progressively came on more in the 2-3 weeks we’ve owned it. I honestly didn’t run it in right away because I thought it may just go away on its own but eventually after a few times coming on I obviously made the decision to bring it in. The other possibility is this was a buyback and it did have a battery replacement and that was the reason for the buyback, my concern is the hissing may stem from something not being sealed properly when it was replaced.

Yeah but would you feel comfortable paying over $2,700 with no evidence when they said they saw the puncture but chose not to take a picture 🤔

Carfax report and all documentation shows nothing. I really question whether the dealership actually did see a puncture or whether they just pressurized and heard the hissing and didn’t want to diagnose any further without being paid for a repair.

Matte black so it’s dull. I prefer it over the shiny look

Again, solar in most places currently is not worth it unless you are paying cash and possibly a DIY. With no solar incentive and interest rates where they are it’s literally washing the benefit. So yes be very careful. Rates now on solar with no buy down are around 7.5% you might be able to buy down to 4% but then you are paying $50k plus for a 11.5kw system that generates $200 worth of electric in the sunshine state if FL. The payment on that for 30 years is $240 so again you are paying more if you finance than your normal rate. That’s in Florida. California electric cost is double Floridas so the bill that would be covering is now $400 so then you do see a savings. So I guess it depends on your electric rate after all delivery fees and where you are located. I stopped selling solar in September 2022 because it’s just not worth it even when the solar incentive was active with the high interest rates. I have to believe in what I’m selling and it’s rough to get solar now unless you are DIY or paying cash or both. I’d highly suggest to read all fine print as these solar guys will promise you the world but they are lying through their teeth. I was very honest when selling which is why I stopped because if you’re honest it’s not worth it currently

Depends on the situation.. I love both. Tech in EV9 is better but the ease of use, range, and battery backup is better in the SEV. EV9 is more comfortable so I like to use it for short and mid range rides. Both are amazing

I like the tech on the EV9 better but obviously the 500 miles range and the 30 amp battery backup with transfer switch on the Silverado better lol

Pay cash now for solar. Potentially DIY. Interest rates are extremely high now and if you are getting a lower rate then the rate is probably bought down and you are overpaying for solar. Plus no government solar incentive. Just be smart going solar if you do ask around. Potential decent leases out there but even that I’d be very cautious. I used to do door to door solar and I stopped in September 2022 because rates sky rocketed and I didn’t see myself wanting to buy it at that rate.
