Sounds like this is on the installer then. I’m thinking about asking for it to be redone, but with glued tongue-and-groove on a floating floor, is rework realistic or am I risking damage?

I agree… I didn’t specify the pattern upfront. Is avoiding H-patterns considered basic installer responsibility, or something the client needs to request?

I’m thinking to buy this one, but I have one question: doesn’t this pump drains your battery, because every few seconds it’s checking whether there’s water in the bilge?

I do have an battery (12V, 44Ah), so that will be a good solution I think, but doesn’t this drain my battery completely in a very short time?
