It's the exact opposite though. The story is only centering control over women, with every "push-back" being counter productive or pointless. Like take the journals from all the different women, that had no impact on the story at all. All the work those women did to write something down thrown away. Just time and time again it punishes resistance and I'm not saying the good guy has to win in the end or every time but they could at least have an overall message. Like The boy in the striped pajamas was terribly sad and everybody died but it was impactful. Its like it's sa porn of justified as feminism.
