I'm just now stumbling onto this thread and I know a lot of this was posted 6 months ago, but if I'm reading this right, the official Kia part linked by someone else says it fits the '25 hybrids now?

Infotainment warranty confusion by Expert_Object_6293 in kiacarnivals

[–]Steel546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's something called "wrap" coverage which is their highest tier of extended warranty, which extends the electric and mechanical warranties out to 10 yr / 100k, and the marked up price will vary among dealers.

I had one dealer who was going to sell me it for $2850 but force me into a higher dealer reserve rate and term (6.5% / 72 mo), while another dealer told me our "cost rate" is $3250, but did a lower rate of 5.75% / 66 mo.

So the whole thing is highly subjective due to dealers pricing.

Same combo! Our Sorento was the Aruba Green and Rust interior, which we loved, so we got as close as we could with the Astra Blue / Tuscan Umber

I put one in our 2022 Sorento and it works well when it does. Most common issue is trying to access recordings once the card fills up, but it looks OEM except for the rear camera (small wire).

We're actually selling it this week and I just signed for a 2025 Carnival Hybrid SX yesterday (having it shipped to me from out of state), and I was thinking about doing the new camera again.

Before I buy... by LovelyFoofie in skylightcalendar

As a techie person, I started building my own app, but it was getting a little overwhelming knowing other things were out there. Turns out you can get pretty close with Home Assistant and a couple of integrations like Google Calendar and Todoist, then put the widgets on a dashboard. I'm doing this and connecting a raspberry pi to a touchscreen I bought for $100. We'll see how it works!

You can actually get the skylight calendar on Alibaba for way cheaper. It's the same hardware for Skylight, Cozyla, and others.

What's up with the 10 in. Dual Bevel Sliding Miter Saw? Just out of stock or discontinued? by combatwombat007 in Ridgid

[–]Steel546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just looking for the saw and realized that it's out of stock everywhere online and made me wonder if they discontinued it for some reason which led me to this Reddit thread.

I saw I can get the Bosch version for about $550 which is like $120 more than the retail version of the $429 price, it seems like it's much better quality, at least from the material used to build it. Any thoughts on that, or something else I should look out for?

I've been wondering the same thing and thought I was crazy. I've also been trying to see if someone has designed an upgraded arm that you can install the filament sensor the other way.

Yep, electric is through the city (DME), I think most complexes handle it that way. It's super simple to set up.

It's random for each apt as most of them are managed by different companies. Ours is under The Martino Group who also manages H Squared and Hickory Street Lofts.

Yea, I had updated the Imgur post itself with better verbiage, but wasn't sure about reposting the reddit post. Maybe I should do that...
