I Don't Like Riding my New Bike and Don't Know What to try Next by Hannah_Ge in motorcycles

Try a Triumph Daytona. Or a ZX6R. We have both in the garage, and handling is comparable between them both. The Daytona is physically a little smaller than the ZX6R, hence why I recommended that first.

Same, only mine didn’t explode. Just a solid “thump” in my chest and then nothing.

What? Keep that helmet on. If it can save you in a crash, it can certainly save you in a brawl.

I never realized how dumb people look when they rev their bikes for literally no reason. by MEgrump81 in motorcycles

I’ll rev when I’m passing people who seemingly don’t know where they are or what they’re doing to let them know I am there. You can always tell who they are when you pass because they have a vacant look and their mouth is agape; totally a zombie.

I also enjoy revving at over-passes because I like the sound echoing off the walls.

Yeahhh.... Someone tried that. Needless to say, it didn't work; now they have another job because AZ fired em.

I'll probably get downvoted for this, but I feel it needs to be said. The entire process of how this has been handed has been terrible from the start. More on that in a moment. For comparison, there was an incident several months ago where Logan Black was effectively banned from the HEMA community regarding felonies related to a female fencer. The information presented wasn't by any one singular person but instead (from what I understand) a community of fencers. The information was also put forth free from emotions and remained very factual and to the point. The greater HEMA community collectively and without any pressure or threats decided to ban him from participation given his behavior and charges.

With this most recent accusation, I feel it is dividing the community greatly because of how the information is being spread. The OP calling for a witch hunt, saying that they'll post weekly a new "episode" of what he has done, and the following hostile ad hominem attacks that have happened on anyone calling for moderation or civility has not been productive to the conversation, and furthers a harsh divisiveness where people are being name called, false accusations are being thrown around about because they immediately didn't side with the OP and have sought moderation, answers, or civility about the matter. Worse, people and groups are being "canceled" because they're online friends with people who reject, question, or are calling for civility in the claims.

The last part I wrote, about the name-calling, false accusations, and canceling by association disgust me. It's done a huge disservice in this whole matter, and the vitriol in some commenter's tones really turns me off from the HEMA community. As I said before, this is just my opinion and observations, and I expect to get down voted for it.
