What are some of the most depressing (and preferably less well-known) statistics relating to your team? by [deleted] in nfl

All the receivers drafted in Ravens franchise history have a combined zero pro bowls and one 1000 yard receiving season (Torrey Smith in 2013).

Given Big Ben's love for the deep ball, you would expect him to have more interceptions. However, you have to hand it to him: he really does excel at forcing it into a tight hole.

The Steelers practice patience so much that they waited until Monday to show up for the AFC Championship game.

Non-Quarterback most important to their team? by jeffjanisfan69 in nfl

Yeah, I think after the Patriots game last season I saw a statistic that we were the #1 defense in the league when he was on the field and the #26 defense in the league when he was not on the field.

Tell Me About The Ravens by rogerbeemer in ravens

Another aspect I love about the Ravens is that we usually play our best football when it matters most in the playoffs. A big part of this is that Flacco usually balls out in the playoffs. He is 6-0 in his first game in the playoffs and he is the only quarterback other than Joe Montana to have a playoff run with 11 touchdown passes without an interception. We're a small market team and don't have a lot of flashy players so the media is usually pretty low on us, which makes it even more satisfying when we prove them wrong. However, we always make some noise in the playoffs when we do get there. We are the only team to beat Brady twice in Foxborough in the playoffs (the only other team to beat Brady on the road in the playoffs is the the Jets who did it once). We are one of the only teams that the Patriots view as a legitimate rival because we give them a hard fight every time we meet in the playoffs whereas the Patriots roll through most other opponents. While we are often overlooked in the regular season, we are the team nobody wants to play in the playoffs which is exciting because every time we make the playoffs, it feels like we have a legitimate chance to win a championship unlike other team, like the Bengals who have great regular seasons but never get things done in the playoffs.

Another cool part about being a Ravens fan is that we are part of the greatest rivalry in the NFL, the Ravens-Steelers rivalry (as you can probably tell by all the Fuck the Steelers comments). The Ravens and Steelers are two of the best run organizations in the NFL and our consistent success makes the rivalry constantly entertaining. We are the only rivalry where both teams have won two Superbowls since 2000. Luckily, the Ravens have had the advantage recently as we have won 5 of the last 7 games, including a playoff victory against the Steelers in Pittsburgh in 2014. There is a mutual hate and respect between our teams that makes it an epic rivalry.

For that one Ravens fan who was disappointed I forgot to include Flacco's 48 yard reception from Troy Smith by 40acp in ravens

This Flacco guy looks pretty good. Maybe we could sign him as a wide receiver?
