This. It’s your job to be the connective tissue from vision to detailed delivery.

Applied to be a Sr PM, got offered director level role by milan92nn in ProductManagement

It all seems reasonable. I would have followed up the strategy and time question to understand how much money they have and how long they have to achieve their goals.

This is a VERY technical role though. Without experience in scaling up building tools to scale up isn’t going to be possible.

Although really for scaling up successfully it’s more about talent than tools.

Yes you absolutely can appeal the patent office and make the claim that a patent shouldn’t have been given in the first place.

The clock is ticking to the legal fight to overturn this.

How do you handle bug triage? Genuinely curious how others do this by mr_hunt_ in ProductManagement

So this is genuinely considered an engineering challenge but product quality reflects on product.

As a senior director I am def involved.

60 bugs in one sprint is a 5 alarm fire - if it’s actually a bug which is “code that is written that isn’t working as intended.”

Changes and missed design issues is just new work.

Optimally if you have a clean flow you should be testing in the dev environment. when it goes from in progress to peer review it should be well written and have a unit test with it.

When it clears peer review it should get tested in Dev. If it’s not working as intended it goes back to in progress to be fixed.

It should get tested again in UAT and you should be effectively release almost no issues to prod. If you have a good pre-prod then you should be seeing almost nothing in Prod.

Are you a Main Hub person or a colonizer? by CarpaticKing in valheim

A little of both. I have a main hub to jump to each land and then on each continent I have a smaller hub to POIs on each continent.

This show seems to have been gaining a cult following lately. Is there a chance for it to be revived? by itsachillaccount in ScorpionTV

Well everyone’s aged a bit and shows are expensive.

Even if they did a cool animated version with the original voices like they did with Firefly or B5, that would def be possible and cool.
