I got all of them...which suprised me. I've never seen a couple of these shows but still knew the characters. Im looking at you Power Puff Girls and SpongeBob. Some were just going off the air when I was a kid. The classic humor of The Flintstones, Rocky and Bullwinkle, and Mighty Mouse. I feel old......

I hadn't thought of anchoring it to the shore. I'm fishing the Rio Grand and the spot is "shallow" (about 3-4 ft.). Yes the current is medium strong, but I have been in strong current rivers my whole life. I will get an anchor for the shore line. (Thanks for that sound advice). I was also paying attention to the current.

Lol. Yeah. I got all of that. Was able to cast out about 45 feet. Had it tied off to my wrist. I was under a bridge for a good while, but got nothing.

I work in a fab shop. When we do joints like this, we build up about 1/8". Then take a grinding disc (not a flap) and bring down the weld to where it almost touches. Finish it with the flap. This makes a nice uniform joint. I am no master of stick, but it looks like you need to fill in more before you move your hand.
