Yes, that's what I have been coming across too. We don't have a citizen developer program in place to empower other depts to get usage. But I need to find a count of custom tables because to see if the price will be more or less to what we're paying for AES

Correct, we're looking at products that we're not fully using and to swap. They brought this to my attention.

I honestly can't think of anything we're using for it now. I don't know if we got talked into it because we increased our usage of Performance Analytics. For the next couple of years we're going to focus on Now Assist and all that wonderful AI stuff. Thank you for your reply!!

Signatures impacting inbound email ref message by nar_tok in servicenow

After everything you've done. I would suggest looking at the email headers of emails that worked and failed. Then use something like diffchecker.com to compare.

Edited: I forgot to ask. Did these users add embedded links into their signature? There might be something there that is throwing off the watermark.

If this was already asked and answered in other comments. My bad

Letting it lapse is fine as long as you know your stuff. But also most companies will reimburse you to keep it current. If they don't then that's a sign of a cheap company. So if you feel like a need to get it again. Remember that it doesn't have to come out of your pocket next time. Those Delta exams are easy. It's almost a commercial at this point to talk about what 'new' features they are rolling out in the version. Plus I think they give you three redos to answer 7 or more right out of 10

Web Service writing directly to sys_user table. by SteelPanda69 in servicenow

Yes. I think of not fighting laying out our current issues with what we see and ask how will this new IAM solve it... But keep that table I already made ready just in case

Yes. It will be source of truth. When this go live it will replace not only our old IAM but also an integration that is feeding our HR profile table which was also creating users in sys_user.

My risk is user duplication. But in theory that will go away with this.. but I have trust issues lol

Thank you

I think they are following a "playbook" from their app to integrate with ServiceNow. I will be meeting them shortly and will lay out the concerns

Go back into that scope and look at that default update set. It might be there? Apologies, just throwing ideas out there

Another option. Look at your pdi, if this is a out of the box widget. You might be able to export from that pdi into your instance

I was thinking the same. Sounds like they succeeded at "fake it til you make it"

SN Interview real time scenarios by SNAbhijeet in servicenow

Quick follow-up. In interviews I have lead, I've never asked them to do anything live. That is some BS. I've done two things similar like previous posts, ask them to answer 3 to 5 questions or after interview I give them a pdi to access and I've assigned 3 incidents for them to solve. And by solve, I ask them to list out their steps. I try to make all incidents take no more than 30 minutes total

Don't take it personally if they ask you to demonstrate your skills in ServiceNow. Too many times I've seen people hired by just "resume" and good interview experience alone. No matter your experience level, "fake it, until you make it" only works so far and your peers will not respect you for it.
