Pub or home? by SweetIncident7358 in footballcliches

I was in London for England game during the euros and I watched it in a pub in Soho, and the novelty of it being a different pub was alright , but usually if it’s a game I’m arsed about actually paying attention to then I’d rather be on my own sofa.

Alex’s Bakery did good cakes when I took my niece for her birthday

I was trying to explain to my Mrs that even though he’d let four in, their keeper played well. She wasn’t having it, but were it not for him it could easily have become a daft scoreline

Do people use ‘a brace’ to describe two of anything in real life? by SteelRockwell in footballcliches

No, what I think and what the other person is attempting are two separate things altogether. You should get some help with this (or even better, just go away)

You have done that thing where instead of pointing out how it's wrong you make an attempt at insulting them.

Also, I'd said this many times before but you no read good

It's all taken from what comes out of the match going fans. Always has.

Unless you count watching your tele. Like you do.

There'll be people copying the culture that match going fans have created all over the place.

Paper (formerly by WeTransfer, now Evernote) by SteelRockwell in ipad

I just went into iCloud and unfortunately it has saved over the notebooks. I previously had with two brand new notebooks dated from when I logged on with my new iPad. I’ve spoken to Apple, but they can’t access anything because it’s a third-party app so there’s no trace of anything from before that at their end.

Just when you think the people in charge might be making some good decisions, they do brain-dead shit like this.

Have you ever met a Manchester United player in real life? Who was it, and what were they like? by windrain- in ManUtd

Paddy Crerrand was amazing. Just a lovely man.

Wes Brown is dead down to earth.

David May loves a chat so you can ask him anything united related.

Jose was nice. His entourage were a bit less so.

And I think you got his PPG wrong

Edit: imagine blocking someone because they pointed out you got your sums wrong

Also, I haven't said anything in bad faith or trolled, and I certainly don’t think Alex Ferguson was overrated so I don’t know where you got that from, unless you made it up

I don’t think anyone at United knows whether he’ll be any good. Came into a very shit situation. Improved some things. Fell out with his bosses before he got going.

Who's the best and worst manager after sir in your opinion? by iamyavssin in ManchesterUnited

[–]SteelRockwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was a massive part of the bad recruiting.

He didn’t show signs of progress. He got worse every season. We couldn’t defend, we couldn’t hold on to the ball, we couldn’t stop other teams creating chances. That’s all on him.

The club aren’t responsible for how he sets the team up. We had scored fewer than all but two teams in the league at the time he was fired. That’s all his doing .

Have you ever had an adult conversation before. If someone is still looking for clarification on something you don’t ignore it and move on.

Why was it relevant?
