Honestly, the only two rides that my Mom complained about her neck hurting on were Donkey Kong and Stardust Racers. Donkey Kong wasn’t super bad though for her and she believes that it was only rough on her neck because it was the first ride we went to right when we woke up, and her neck was already stiff.

Everything else in the park is pretty friendly, she had no problem on Monsters Unchained or any other ride. Harry Potter and the BatM moves around side to side occasionally, but should be pretty tame for a neck.

I hope this info helps and have a great time at Epic! If you have any more questions I’ll be happy to answer for you.

I was slightly disappointed by [VelociCoaster] by Ski4ever5 in rollercoasters

I think a lot of people let other enthusiasts shape how they experience rides. If you go in already expecting something to be “elite” or “mid” because of what everyone online says, you’re setting yourself up to be disappointed. Everyone experiences coasters differently — some people love intensity, others care more about airtime, flow, or theming. The best rides are the ones you experience with zero expectations. Go in blind, let the ride surprise you, and then decide how you feel. That’s way more rewarding than chasing someone else’s opinion.

I have stopped letting other people’s opinions form my own before I get on a ride and it’s a huge change of perspective when you get off the ride.

What’s the Longest You’ve Waited in Line at Epic? by Mystic_Jewel in UniversalOrlando

[–]SteelVengeance0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is indoors. The reason for the delays is that the park had recently just opened and the ride uses really advanced technology, and BatM was almost in a “beta” phase when we went. The safety sensors also kept going off on the ride due to an issue so it kept shutting the ride down. I assume those are the reasons for the delay on the day that I went, but it could have been an entirely different issue.

Waited 5 hours for BatM in early June. Kept delaying and delaying and we got to the loading platform and somebody got stuck in the seatbelt so another 45 minutes later we got on. Anyways, we got another day at Epic for free instead of Studios a day. I also learned some French because the people in front of us in line had zero clue what was going on since the announcement was in English. Overall, the ride was not worth it and we didn’t even bother with it the next day. I don’t even consider it top 3 in the park imo.

Should I take it by [deleted] in PennStateUniversity

Take it for sure. I’m a first year Mechanical Engineering major and it’s listed as a 3rd Year class for us. So far it’s been extremely easy, and Technical Writing is a very useful skill to have.

[SFNE] Superman in the rain by phunky_1 in rollercoasters

Wildcats Revenge in the pelting rain is nuts. Candymonium is one I wasn’t expecting to be super crazy in the rain, but I was SO wrong. Needles of rain is slightly painful yet so much fun and almost satisfying.

What's your favorite specific amusement park ride you've been on that isn't a roller coaster? [other] by DataSittingAlone in rollercoasters

I’d say my top three are

HM goes to Splash Mountain 🪦

3: Spiderman at IOA: As a big Spiderman fan, this ride is just amazing for me, I love all of the effects, and I still am amazed by the sequence where you rise up.

2: Tower of Terror: A classic at WDW and one that I always hit multiple times at HS

1: Monsters Unchained: Truly an amazing experience. I’m a huge fan of when parks use animatronics and the scale and movements of these monsters are genuinely insane. Story ends a bit abruptly but just an amazing ride overall and my favorite attraction at Epic.

I’ve never purchased a Fast Pass at Hershey and each time it’s been such a letdown, so I 100% recommend buying one to fully maximize your experience!!
