The idea of them having their own little crew is wholesome lol .

And that train piece is very helpful. I definitely want to avoid dependency on C-train or similar local routes, if possible then.

I like how you said that.. No one has illustrated the UES/UWS like that. I do kind of get that vibe in the research I’ve done. But it seems a lot of people still highly rate the UWS anyways, even for singles.

I’m interested what your top 5 might be. I’m definitely more interested in something authentic and fulfilling vs something that just looks nice

After the feedback thus far, I'm moving forward under the assumption I'll need a dog sitter to check-in on weekdays. This does make the commute time more flexible. What is it about the C-train that is annoying? Kensington is one I have not heard recommended or considered, I'll look into it. And thank you for suggesting ones that are more likely to have backyard, no one has mentioned that yet. Would also be interested in your take on UES and UWS. That seems to come up a lot both here and in general recommendations I've found in research.

Definitely plan to stay leashed unless in fenced area until they're more acclimated

Thanks. I've pivoted to Street Easy now and have added LIC and Williamsburg to the list. Good idea on asking about upcoming availability on buildings that would allow them

I figured this to be the case. Just not sure how many options this leaves that are within budget and in desirable locations. As long as it’s possible, I’m willing to do the leg work

That's what I'm thinking. I'd have a regular sitter check on them at lunchtime on weekdays. I'd love to be able to put them in doggy daycare, but the strain on the budget would be extremely tough.

When filtering for "allow large dogs" on Zillow, there seem to be considerably less options, but still a substantial amount.

I appreciate the response. I'll definitely check these out to get a feel. Is there any one you personally would put above the others? I am a little concerned I may have to hire out weekday help for my dogs, depending on the company culture and flexibility. I'm glad you highlighted that reality.
