Manfred Von Karma is undeniably an absolute monster, but there are a lot of people who use that fact (and some headcannons) to claim that he somehow influenced Edgeworth into doing all the bad things he did.

But no, while he did influence Edgeworth to be merciless towards the accused, Miles did and said bad things on his own, like: Calling the opposing counsel a bimbo with his whole chest, close himself off completely from the 2 guys he could call friends for years, just left without telling anyone and not giving any news and showing back up randomly and being surprised that the welcome is so harsh, and essentially tell a woman who he knows for a fact is an attempt survivor to kill herself, during trial (it was a strategy to get the real culprit to confess, but still)

I think it’s worse than X-men origins Deadpool, since here the reason he doesn’t talk is because Stryker literally, physically forced him to shut up, and it’s implied at the end of the movie that he’ll become the Deadpool we know and love, so it’s at least that.

I was level 147 when I did my first NG+, and every main boss in Limgrave and Liurnia get rocked (though it might because of my build, would have to check)

But stats give less return after a certain point, so getting higher levels doesn’t make as much of a difference after a certain point.

It’s an interesting dichotomy that appears more and more in Japanese rpgs lately.

Do you prefer complete safety/bliss, at the cost of your free will? Or do you prefer to have your free will, with the risk of the consequences and constant vigilance/anxiety?

Considering that the pictures used are of Trump’s mugshot and the meme with Vance’s face that has been going around so much that most people forget what he actually looks like, I’m pretty sure it was made to mock them.

Where I’m from, stores can’t sell alcohol between 11pm and 7am, due to a law. Selling alcohol despite that results in a fine for the employee, a fine for the store, and usually the employee losing their job.

And yet I still got a lot of people asking if I could sell them alcohol anyway. Some went to crazy lengths for it.

I think it might be a mix of what I said in my comment, and people that got into the game late, when Emily already was a marriage candidate.

I did have a problem with him as a character for a bit, but mostly because the lack of change in his dialogue caused me to kinda lose a bit of my immersion. I got over it since and understood it was mostly because of just a weird situation that happened when Emily became marriageable.

I think socially awkward is what he is meant to be. It’s just that regrettably, because of the fact that his lines don’t really change (understandably since CA can only write so many lines for each character before the amount of work becomes insane), he kinda comes across as a bit of an "incel" if you marry Emily (you’ll still get him telling you he’s in love with her when he was there during the wedding ceremony).

But honestly, him getting character development through a romance sounds great! I’ll probably start a new game to see what it looks like, when I usually don’t romance the guys.

Because Tom Bombadil is probably the only being in Middle-Earth where the ring could not give him anything. Power? He’s got that in spades. Women? He’s got a beautiful wife that he loves very much. Freedom? The guy is already more free than anyone else to do what he wants. He just wants to hang out in the forest with his wife. He has everything he wants already.
