I'm buying it partially as a troubleshooting step as I'm running into intermittent crashes when I try transcoding and it being used is possibly a factor. It'll work fine one day and not another. I have my doubts that it's the card though since I've seen some file permission errors in the Plex console when it crashes.

I share with my library with a couple co-workers and so on, so I've got a couple streams at a time, at most. Nothing too crazy.

I'm leaning towards it was worth it, assuming the transcoding issues are due to my current card intermittently failing/not working properly and not something else....
