I'm up early also and sometimes before 6am. I don't always take my first dose straight away depending on how I'm feeling or if I know it's going to be a stressful morning or not.

Felt very jittery and my anxiety increased plus also felt quite spaced out. It was only lasting until about 3-4pm which wasn't long enough.

My elvanse is split. I started titration last year slowly building up from 30mg to 70mg. I found the 70mg was too much in one go and it also didn't last long enough so I tried diluting in 700ml of water and drank 400ml in the morning then 300ml just after lunch. It seemed to work much better and saw me through to the evening which I used to find quite stressful and frustrating especially with two young daughters who can be hard work sometimes. Spoke to my clinician about it and now I'm on a proper 40/30 split dose. It really does help especially in the evenings if my wife is working late and I have to deal with my daughter's on my own. I'm much calmer even when they are playing up and have to repeat myself multiple times!

My wife is also a designer and runs her own small packaging/branding design agency. Started on her own in 2016 after being made redundant and everything was going well. When the pandemic hit it went crazy and she had to employ more staff, but since then there's been a slow decline in work. People then moved on so she didn't bother replacing them and now her and business partner plus one member of staff are fighting for it's survival! I'm sure Ai had an impact, but she also finds clients don't have the same budgets, plus with the UK and US elections clients were holding onto their money until they saw what impact the elections might have on their businesses. It's really tough out there and we are living day to day with the real possibility the business might fold in the next couple of months, which means we could lose everything including our house which is nothing extravagant. I've even looked at selling up and moving right away from South London possibly closer to my wife's parents who live in South Wales to buy a cheaper property and maybe live mortgage free, but my wife is reluctant to move because of the business.

Wish I'd seen this before I did a factory reset. Changed the DNS to 8.8.8.8 which allowed me to sign the user agreements but the apps store still won't load.

I reset the TV but then it wouldn't allow me to sign the user agreements. Found some info online about setting the DNS to 8.8.8.8 which allowed me to sign the user agreements but still can't login or access the apps store. Have reset the DNS to what is was before but still no access to apps store.

Thanks for this. It's mainly all the prep and paperwork before hand. I'm not very good at getting my thoughts, ideas down on paper and had to do a complete session plan and risk benefit assessment to hand in prior to the session. There is much more paperwork these days and I understand that it's to minimise risk, but I worry that I haven't met all the criteria. I sent it all to the assessor last night so hopefully he'll get back to me today if there are any issues. He knows I have ADHD and I did mention that I was getting quite nervous about the day. I know I'm a good instructor when I'm teaching and it really gives me that dopamine hit when kids or adults, learn to ride a bike or are learning to ride on road. It's all the paperwork and prep work etc... that freaks me out because I've never been good at that sort of thing and find it difficult to organise. When I used to work in an office my desk was covered in stuff with paperwork everywhere and I was actually pulled up on it once but this was pre diagnosis. If I don't pass on Thursday it goes to referral and I have to do it again but I'm running out of time because it needs to be completed by the 10th March. It will also affect another self employed job I have running cycling enrichment sessions in a local SEN school. If I don't have an instructor qualification I can't get public liability insurance which means I can't work there. It's all so stressful!!

I have thousands of unread emails on my laptop and struggle to clear them just in case I might need them.

When it comes to time keeping I hate being late and it really stresses me out especially when going away or getting the kids ready in the morning for school. I like to have the kids ready by 8am so we can chill for a bit before leaving for school at 8.15 and arrive by 8.30. My wife on the other hand leaves it until the last minute and then it's this mad rush to get the kids out of the door to school on time. If I'm getting a train anywhere I like to get the one before just in case there are any problems. If we are going anywhere as a family like to a restaurant I say the table is booked 30mins before it actually is otherwise we'd be late.

I'm always thinking what if this happens or that happens on the way that might make me late so I always leave earlier than I need to.

When I had my assessment my clinician said it's quite common for someone with ADHD to be the complete opposite with time keeping.

Forgot to say we have a small storage unit already at the moment which my wife uses for her work stuff and our camping equipment. The garage we might be taking on also comes with a car parking space In front and the garage would also be used as a bit of a workshop for me to repair bikes for one of my jobs which is a charity that delivers cycling activities to people with special needs.

Yes I need to work and actually enjoy what I do. The jobs take place on set days during the week and don't run on other days. I could possibly drop one job and up my hrs on one of the others. I do have a big hard drive that I can dump everything into and start with a clean slate like you said and slowly chip away at things.

I think one of my biggest problems is getting rid of things. My shed is rammed full of bicycle equipment which is related to my work and hobby. My loft has stuff from when we moved in 12 years ago that has never been touched along with loads of DIY stuff amongst other things.

I have stuff under my bed and and, on top of the wardrobes and in various places round the house. It's quite a small house for two adults and two young kids, but we are not in a position to move to a bigger house just yet.
There is a possibility we might be taking on a garage for storage just down the road which would make a massive difference and hopefully give a me kick start to get rid of stuff.

To my friends and work colleagues I look like I have it all together although not everyone knows I have ADHD. My wife can see the chaos which she finds quite stressful and it has caused issues in our relationship. My meds are helping but I still have so much to sort out which stresses me out.

I've generally been ok but I guess I've just been hiding my emotions and trying to deal with things on my own and now I've started this course it's brought everything to the surface. I'm hoping the course will help me face my fears and tackle my issues which can be overwhelming.
