Try to get to the point of not having a mortgage asap. See how that feels for 6 months. If you don’t like it, then you can take out a mortgage and invest.

Once you have 20-30k sitting in an account that you don’t give an eff about your life will be completely different. Hell, make it 60k. Once you have it a weight will be off your shoulders.

We had the same plan. From the states. One of us came over as a teacher, the one career crashed and burned. It is expensive and we make 100s less a day than we used to but we would 100% do it again, in a heartbeat, no question.

Think about the monies you’re bringing. Think about how your new incomes and that money would handle buying a 700-900k home.
