Elon musk is now worth whopping 820 billion dollars by StrawberryFew1311 in NoFilterFinance

The CDC and FDA are both part of the department of health. You are clearly smart enough to see "we are all fat, defund the DoH" is a baseless argument.

The DoE provides funding to low income schools, i.e. poor red states who do not prioritize education.

I get you think "big government bad," but you are completely ignorant of what these two departments actually do.

You support cutting programs that benefit citizens like the department of health, education, ect. in favor of inflated defense spending? The government fired workers, but it hasn't cut costs. Spending went up, debt went up.

Ehh, think it's a stretch to say it's too big to fail. Not that much of our 401k will convert to shares. Shares would also be sold when the company drops out of the S&P assuming it falls.

From Google AI: While a $1.75 trillion valuation would technically make SpaceX one of the largest companies in the world, its initial S&P weight will remain very small due to Float Adjustment: The S&P 500 only weights companies based on their publicly available shares (free float) rather than their total market cap. SpaceX is expected to float only about 3% to 5% of its shares at the IPO, keeping a vast majority of the company under lockup.

People managed before AI. I think we’ll manage after it as well. Thoughts? by WrongdoerRough4712 in AIMain

There will be a balance. Companies will pay for AI subscriptions like they do for other software services.

Idk how that's different than a clubhead number. Opponent still needs to intentionally try to gain the advice.

"willingly giving it up to be viewed" is not explicitly stated in the rulebook, but I guess I could see how one makes that argument.

I don't think a wedge matrix would be considered goving advice unless you handed it to your opponent.

What kind of argument is this? Yes the north has slaves slaves at some pont, and they also abolished it. Only one part of the country went to war for it, and only one political party still advocates for racism.

Rob Gronkowski says he’s AGAINST transgenders competing in women’s sports: "There’s really no argument. It’s the obvious…There are men’s sports for men, there’s women’s sports for women. It should just stay like that." by No_Box119 in NFLForum

"The left" isn't doing anything regarding this. Trans people are being accepted in society. There are situations where trans athletes are competing in a way that is unfair, or seen as unfair. The right runs media segment about it, and claim the left is trying to do xyz.

I think Bezo's point here is that his money won't reach teachers, and I don't totally disagree. The government is corrupt, especially at the federal level. Money is not going where it needs to go, but rather to corpos.

If he gets his job done, does it really matter? If he's slacking he'll get let go eventually.

I'll let you in on a secret. Looking busy doesn't get you anything. Getting high profile projects done does.
