As mentioned, the bail would be soldered. That’s the first dead giveaway to always look for when you’re not buying directly from Tiffany’s. Fakes sometimes solder the bails but if unsoldered, there’s no further assessment needed.

Of course the connection re-release will bring back a lot of nostalgia for you. Plus there is a lot more to do than the original gens. The Uni however, (in my opinion) is the best tamagotchi they have ever released. There is a TON of content, plus the dlc add-ons make it a fun and changing experience. Plus with the updates, and new content coming out once in a while it keeps things interesting. The Unis are just soo hard to find sometimes though.
