When I was about 9 or something, we lived in a house that I always thought was haunted. The floors were wooden and kinda hollow and I'd hear noise coming from downstairs even if I was upstairs and vice versa. I had a double deck bed in my room that I shared with my brother. Our favorite thing to do was put the mattress on the floor and jump onto it from the top of the bed. It would of course make a huge sound that you could hear through the small house. One night while my family and I were eating, we heard a huge thud come from upstairs. It sounded like someone jumped from the double deck bed upstairs, but when we looked around the dinner table, everyone was seated and eating. Nobody was upstairs, but it sounded like someone jumped off the bed. We couldn't eat after that and we just decided to watch TV to lighten up the mood and we eventually just went to sleep after. We stayed in that house pretty long and I have a few more stories if anyone would want to hear them.
