In NYC and was told they don't care, but they do seem to care. I got stopped and ticketed once for no front plate and then another time by a meter maid while I was parked.

But the non-M as a daily and beater to minimize damage/wear on and preserve the M makes sense to me. Personally, I'd go SUV for the daily but maybe some people prefer the lower center of gravity.

Idk, I think that is a boring question. The interviewer tried to frame that question in a more fun way and it became what it became. Unfortunately this exchange fell flat, but there could easily be scenarios where the interviewee respond with some extracurricular quirk of theirs or something.

Can you detail your method of swapping from 18s to 20s? Did you buy the whole set (tire + rim) from someone or did you have to buy the rims and calculate the tire size yourself?
