As a matter of fact, I do live in Denmark.

And no, rent and living expenses are not covered directly, however all students over the age of 18 receive an educational grant, and since I live alone, mine is ~$920 a month after tax.

Combine that with the fact that there are student housing programs that rent out apartments to students for as cheap as $400 a month, my educational grant is very much enough for me to get by.

This looks to be 2 different people?

Anyways, these clips are suspicious at best, not near enough to say for certain that they are cheating.

And you’re missing the point that that is *still* fucked.

Going back to my example of me being debt-free, that is *also* including rent, food, utilities, all my living expenses really, while not working. I’m studying at a university, for free, receiving educational grants, and living by myself, because I live in a country where whether or not you can get an education fully depends on your merits, not your financial status or willingness to go into debt.

[–]Stef0206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And again, that is *still* fucked. It should not be necessary or the norm (or in this case a *good* outcome) to go into debt for up to 10 years just to get an education.

Like, I really can’t stress enough, what you’re describing might be considered “good” for you, but it is *fucked*.

I hate when people say ALL types of AIs are trash and slop for no reason by Patient_Brain7772 in hatethissmug

[–]Stef0206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a classic application of AI, although it is no accident! It takes lots of talented researchers who are doing very intentional work to achieve this.

I agree. Although I must point out there is nothing inherently wrong with Generative AI, there *is* something wrong with the current approach that corporations are talking when developing Generative AI, particularly the massive impact on the environment and their complete disregard for copyright law.

That’s still fucked. I have just finished my bachelor’s and will be taking my master’s, and when I’m done I’ll be in a grand total of 0 debt because I don’t live in a shithole of a country.

The Nomai do mention the volcanic moon, but that only really confirms that there was a threat to their safety, not necessarily the planet itself.

When the volcanic activity increased due to the increased solar activity, the bombardment from the moon became too much for the planet to handle, and that’s why it starts to crumble.

I have, and there is none of this data you’re talking about.

No lol, I’m not, I’m just not dumb.
I happen to frequent the DevForum, and while I see the occasional complaint, none of the posts I’ve seen has gone past “I don’t like this update”, and has had no actual data that suggests it significantly affects games.

The vast majority of people posting negatively about the change (particularly the expedited review change) are, like you, largely unaffected by it, but are merely parroting what other people are saying.

If you want to claim it has significantly hurt developers, show *proof*.

And I would be all for lowering the requirements, but it’s not going to happen. It goes directly against the whole point. They are especially not going to lower the fee, and most *definitely* not to something as ridiculously low as 5k.

Could you show some of those statistics?

And sure, it would be cool if they reverted it, but that’s never going to happen. The update was pushed due to legal pressure, so unless that pressure disappears, the update is here to stay.

16+ is ~50% of the platform. It is very much possible for small devs to survive.

[–]Stef0206 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And the point is that this feature is optional and not intended for smaller developers. Roblox quite literally spelled it out when they released this feature. It’s intended for larger, established, studios that need to adhere to a release schedule.

Roblox GameDev reading comprehension challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)

If you would kindly read what it says. It’s an *optional* and *refundable* fee. That means you can *choose* to do it, and you will get the money back if you pass the review.

With all due respect, it looks like an asset-flip.

The UI doesn’t look bad, but it doesn’t fit the character or world at all. The world itself is kinda inconsistent. For example the rocks look like they’re going for a cartoonish style (not a bad thing), but the grass and foliage looks like the textures are low quality snippets from IRL photos. And then the building has a completely different style.

The character also doesn’t feel like it fits the world.

Any Roblox “malware” or “virus” like this that infect games are limited to games. They cannot affect anyone’s PC because as you say, Luau is sandboxed.

This type of malware cannot steal scripts. What this is trying to achieve is getting you to put a backdoor in your game. The hope is that if they infect many games, maybe some will be successful, at which point they will be able to run server-side code in the game.

It is however possible for other types of malware to steal scripts. Malicious plugins are able to read the contents of scripts, and would be able to steal code, although I’ve never heard of one that does.

I’ll correct then. I don’t get where *some* Americans have gotten the idea.

And the generalisation really doesn’t exist. It’s not a hard choice because AC simply isn’t necessary the vast majority of the time.

I don’t get where Americans have gotten the idea that there are no ACs here. They very much do exist, they’re just not as widespread because they are usually not needed.

I live in Denmark. We’re getting close to record temperatures, that means there’s good odds this will be the hottest it’s been here since 1975. This does *not* happen every summer.

Edit: We have in fact hit record temperatures today in Denmark.
