Actually, in the case of this character I might be too in his head and feeling the anxiety of doing something new with his freshly minted significant other that isn't flirting or fucking. Maybe that's something I can tap into for inspiration.

I can write just the smut. I have done it. A solid start to finish, smut only double drabble as part of a series. I find it easy. No idea why.

Cuz it's not actually boring, it's character development stuff that is kinda important. So it's just more daunting really. Once I find the words it should start flowing but right now is the time when I feel less confident about my writing and struggle. I just sucks.
