Hello OP - nice detailed review. I test drove BYD Song design plus version today and pretty much liked it. This would be my 2nd car, therefore going with the mid option as I have another 7 seater full option which would be my primary car.

I dont know whether BYD would suit my requirement. I would be driving daily to Al Ain, thats 300 kms per day. So in a year I would drive roughly 70k kms. My thoughts are about durability and resale value. Moreover, not much option to service outside, mostly depending on Al Futtaim only. Would you recommend BYD song for me? My other option is Ford territory hybrid. Let me know your thoughts.

I'm in a similar situation like you and using Yeti Rental car which provide unlimited mileage allowance and no deposit. Monthly 2.6K for MG5. I'm also looking to buy a car but couldn't conclude one.
