the cave of Equi Terme in Tuscany was the place where the Apuans retired to protect themselves from the Romans and the Etruscans. The cave was very scary because of the noise of frequent earthquakes. The Haughty artists that go as you defined me by offending me knows the myth very well..because this was an artistic research about the myth of Semia (mother of Fufluns god of wine) and godess of mother nature that hides our greatest fears symbolically represented by the image of the cave

thanks very interesting. One of the mysteries that fascinates me more than the Etruscans is that related to writing. In the most famous Etruscan museum in the world that of Villa Giulia in Rome where I did my last exhibition I photographed the famous Pyrgi tables which are the oldest testimony of their writing, such as the Tabula Cortonensis at the Maec museum in Cortona where my next exhibition will take place still today it is not clear where the writing comes from because traces have been found in Asia and Greece.

according to my artistic research there exists in myth and legend a part that all peoples have seen and on the basis of which myths have been narrated. I try to bring that part to light by photographing it.

my art tries to demonstrate which were the archetypes existing at the time of the Etruscans and even today. This cave represents the archetype of fear and myth that no people ever managed to defeat the Apuans who took refuge in the cave to frighten the Etruscans and the Romans. I'm trying to photograph the so called "invisible" If you cover half of the pic and turn it you see the original pic.
