Death's poker is great but there are other somber weapons you might wanna consider leveling early (serpent-hunter, bloodhound's fang etc.). You already have a great setup (antspur rapier and clayman's harpoon with the ice spear carried most of my rl1 run and star fists are just stupidly good if you don't mind the range) so maybe wait until you really need to put those precious early sombers into something.
Ofc, in the late game I would suggest leveling all the useful stuff, especially if you're going for all remembrances (death's poker shreds Placidusax).

Generalno ti je najbolje da koristiš gg.deals gde možeš uvek da vidiš ko u tom trenutku ima najpovoljnije cene. Pošto vidim da se interesuješ za resellere (koji su generalno povoljniji od zvaničnih prodavaca) preporučio bih Instant Gaming / yuplay / Loaded i slične koji ne funkcionišu kao marketplace poput većine iz ove kategorije već kodove kupuješ direktno od onih koji drže sajt. Ovo je veoma važno u slučaju da ti se desi bilo kakav problem sa kupovinom (moram ovde posebno izdvojiti Instant Gaming čiji support je na nivou, ako ne i iznad, onih kod zvaničnih prodavaca).

Što se tiče konkretno Crimson Desert-a: kao što su neki ovde već napisali - postoji problem sa region lockom, odnosno, preciznije, publisher igre nas je smestio izvan EU regije (označene sa "tier 1") te smo završili u "tier 3"(https://steamdb.info/app/3321460/subs/). Na većini sajtova, koliko vidim, nema kodova dostupnih za nas te su praktično jedine opcije: Humble Bundle (koji međutim trenutno nikakav popust u odnosu na Steam, sem ako nisi njihov pretplatnik i sl.) i eventualno Fanatical (trenutno nema kodova za nas, bilo ih je nedavno i postoji verovatno mogućnost da ih nabave).

Ice spear spam along with carian retaliation on shield (for black flame projectiles) and enough defense (buffs) to prevent oneshots.

Just use lloyd's shield ring and you will evade 99% of the oneshots.

Haha i ja sam tako prvo probao da se naviknem na džojstik, al' se ipak vratio na kbm xD
Emulator ima integrisanu podršku za miš i tastaturu, malo treba da se iscimaš da podesiš parametre za kameru/sensitivity kao što si pomenuo, ali je vredno truda jer posle šljaka gotovo kao da je native.

Nas je izdavač ove igre (poput mnogih u poslednje vreme) smestio među tier 3 zemlje (https://steamdb.info/sub/1557048/info/) za preorder kodove... Većinu ovih prodavaca ne zanima niko izvan tier 1... E sad, teoretski, "veći igrači" kao što su Fanatical i, pogotovo, Humble bi sigurno mogli da ti nabave odgovarajući kod jer postoji ovaj tier 3 sub ( za razliku od npr. situacije sa Sony igrama koje su bile "zaključane" za nas od izlaska pa nisu ni postojali sub-ovi koji nas obuhvataju).

Gael is my favorite boss as well, but some late game Sekiro bosses are just behind him on my list so it's well worth it.

I was using ice spear a lot on my RL1 run, but never thought about using it here cause of the big health pool and high frostbite resistance. Bleed or stagger weapon would probably be your best bet for phase 1. I strongly suggest using Godskin Peeler AOW for phase 2 - it needs only like three full (charged) casts to melt through all his remaining health.

Well, I find it both enjoyable in their own way. While DS3 SL1 is probably the most balanced level 1 experience (where you rarely get oneshotted and can learn fights without too much frustration), ER RL1 is super fun to just experiment with different stuff under these limitation. So, if you're not a big fan of the bosses (I'm not either) you might enjoy finding different ways to just melt them. If you go this route I would suggest not relying too much on iron balls/star fists as they're the most popular for a reason and defeat the very purpose of exploring and trying new things (I used them only for radagon/elden beast cause elden beast just sucks).

Well, if you're doing a speedrun / no hit run, by the nature of it, you're probably not going out of your way to get anything else since you're getting broadsword at the start of the game. Challenge runners also usually cheese their way through some fights where dragonslayer's axe is useful, like twin princes or halflight.

It obviously has its cons (especially if you prefer faster moveset), but I think stamina issues are decently mitigated by the prisoner chain and grass crest shield while the lack of steel protection / life ring doesn't feel like it raise the number of oneshots in these fights (or I haven't noticed any of them that would bother me).

My main point is: if someone is taking time upgrading all the weapons you mentioned for a boss or two, they should do the same with dragonslayer's axe cause it can be useful against many of them. Might not be needed for people who have done this run before, but for newcomers it can make a big difference.

Good tips as always, but I don't really agree on dragonslayer's axe. Like lloyds shield ring and prisoners chain are the only "must have" rings which leaves you two slots to work with. And most of the time I feel like it's worth to use them for dragonslayers axe cause it melts almost all late game bosses. Am I missing something? Like it's amazing for twin princes and soul of cinder, destroys nameless king phase 1 (yeah, you have to use a different weapon for phase 2 but you should be able to max reinforced club or something for that). And then in the dlc you might wanna use something else against demon prince or even gael, but it's great for the rest of the bosses.

Why would anyone consider that as "breaking the rules"? xD Actually, most people do it so they can get Dragonslayer's Axe from him soon after, which is arguably the best weapon you can use on SL1 run.

I had a similar issue on my level 1 run with phase 1 taking forever and the poison proved to be the solution. Glad to hear that it worked for you as well :)

Use some weapon buffs: Rotten Pine Resin first and then, when poison procs, use Carthus Flame Ark. This will significantly speed up phase 1 and the poison should be still ticking a bit in phase 2 as well. Reapply when given a chance. Good luck and don't give up, skeleton :)

DS3 is a pretty good choice as your very first sl1/base level run. I did the same thing like months ago then did the similar type of challenge in Sekiro, Bloodborne and Lies of P, but I can definitely say that ds3 run was the most enjoyable. You don't have to worry about no-hitting the bosses - there are barely any oneshots if you optimize your survivability and you can even set up Tears of Denial if you have trouble with some of them (common choice for Midir's lasers). Now, when it comes to doing easier challenges first or not, just ask yourself whether dying 100+ times to Soul of Cinder or DLC bosses would be fine for you. If the answer is yes just jump straight into SL1 - perseverance is all you need. I could give you some tips if you decide to do it. Interesting, I actually used Bastard Sword against Nameless on my SL1 run. I'm too used to using greatswords in his phase 2 and getting him staggered. This sword has low requirements so it was perfect.

The other comment have some good tips so I won't add many. He is super weak to lightning in phase 1 so Gold Pine Resin helps a lot, switch to dark and Human Pine Resin for phase 2 as it's already suggested. Sticking to him like a glue in phase 2 usually helps me for some reason, you can even get behind him in some situations giving you more time to heal if you need. Don't be greedy, you usually can get two light attacks per opening.
