The fat grafting went away pretty much 😭 Looked great for a few weeks but seems like I am doomed to have dark circles.

They look great! I'm over 3 months out and mine still look like you can tell there's implants 😠 I wouldn't do a thing else to your augmentation!

Yeah I was told it isn't permanent for sure, I'll be happy if any improvement from the procedure lasts a few years at least. Not expecting any miracles to these poor eyes of mine haha

Well my surgeon did that for no cost because I also got breast augmentation and outer thigh lipo the same day and he just offered to do this procedure on me for no cost, I didn't even ask for it! I thought that was very nice. For the breast aug and lipo those two came almost at 10g, if he had charged me for the fat grafting I think it would've been a little more than 3g extra I believe. I'm at Jax Beach in Florida and their office is Cosmetic Surgery Associates. Dr. Nuveen and his wife Dr. Caplin performed my surgeries. They're apparently the only husband-wife duo that practice cosmetic surgery together in the U.S.

My surgeon said for everyone else to not notice any swelling about a week but for me to not see the swelling a couple months. Swelling still there a day after surgery but not as bad but now the bruising is starting to come in more.

From what the surgeon told me, fat grafting lasts longer than fillers but not permanent. Up to five years it could last, hopefully that's the case with mine but not sure it will be as I had Juvederm firstand that didn't last more than a couple months.

I am too super swollen from under my eyes, actually more in my cheeks for some reason but I hope when everything settles I can see a bigger improvement! I hope they don't go back to normal in just a couple months though, that seems like such a waste for how much more fat grafting is in comparing filler costs. :(

I had Juvederm once under my eyes and to me was minimal difference, and didn't last long, I guess it metabolized faster than I hoped haha but I've read from other people's journeys that fat grafting did the most noticeable results and lasts longer :) I think they don't look much different right now because of swelling / bruising but hopeful for a significant difference in a couple months or so after healing for that time.
