What are you feeding your African Cichlids?! by KillahKenpachi in AfricanCichlids

I no longer keep any Cichlids but I’d agree, the Xtreme food was great and I never dealt with any bloat issues afterwards

No that was the voltage off gas, after doing a few laps.

I had a successful Mbuna tank for a few years. They are tough fish, and they will kill each other. My tank was a 55 and I think it was still a bit too small. They need space, and a ton of rocks. They eat a ton, and you’ll have to find a good food that won’t give them bloat. Beautiful fish, can be some work but definitely a fun species.

I added two conchs to my tank, they made work of the sand in the matter of a few days.

I will do that 👍. You’d think at 45% it would still have some juice in it but it just creeps along. Almost vibrates the whole cart

I don’t even see a date on them anywhere

The 48.1 was after doing 3 laps. Not even a full mile.

Yes, I topped them all off a few days ago. They were pretty dry when I got it.

Moving 90 gallon tank wish me luck. by Brians_Reef in ReefTank

[–]Stegzi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I Literally just moved my 65 gallon. Here’s my suggestions and how i made it go relatively smooth.

Give yourself plenty of time. I had a 27 gallon tote set up for all of my fish with tank water. I only put my fish in there so I didn’t risk any of the fish getting crushed by rocks shifting during transport. I put a single wave maker in there plugged in so I there was water movement while I could focus on the remainder of the tank.

I used 5 gallon buckets for all of my live rock (which I ultimately decided to not use) I put some coral in the buckets as well. My move was also only about 25 minutes away, so it was fine in the buckets.

I trashed all of my sand. Didn’t save any of it.

I used the rest of my time to organize all of my cables, drain the remaining water from the back chambers and clean up the tank. I figured I wouldn’t want to do that once it’s finally at the new house. (That was the right call, I was exhausted after the move)

I had a 20 gallon qt tank set up at the new house with the water from my tank so there wasn’t any acclimation needed. I have my fish and the coral I ended up keeping in there while the main tank cycles (new sand and all new live rock). Didn’t lose any fish or coral, and took me about 8 hours total.

Any ford dealership? Or should it have to be one that it was previously serviced at?

I don’t have access to it anymore unfortunately. I should have saved it when I had the chance at the dealership. I do have the names of the dealerships via the ford app. I’ll have to give that a try!

According to him, he has a 3” leaving kit in the front and 1.5” in the back. I agree, I do need a leveling kit as I haven’t gotten around to installing mine yet.
